So, for that I chose cinema. It allows me to discover more about myself. I love to write characters that feel like me, a bit behind, hidden in the shadow and most of the time, totally lost. But at the end, they are just people who want to be accepted and successful. Scenarios allow me to lay out what I can’t explain in real life, and staging depicts what words can’t express. As a filmmaker, I would love my viewers to be connected to my characters, to feel what they feel and thanks to that feel less lonely. Just as I have been able to do in the past, and still do. My goal is to create reflection and contemplation. This movie is my very first short film that I produced and co-directed by myself.”

In 2020 I decided to open a independent producing filmmaking company in my city, Vitoria, State of "Espirito Santo" in Brazil, named "Kambaku Productions". At that time, I was working offshore as safety engineer in a oil and gas platform and as we were passing trhough the COVID-19 pandemic situation, I used to stay up to 14 days in a hotel room, without external acess, before embarking, as "pre embark quarentine" protocol. At that time, I wrote "Ilhado" script and decide to open "Kambaku Productions". Ilhado was the first film of the company, with contribution of friends and friend's producing companies. Now, I just released the second film of Kambaku, named "Marinho", with my direction. "Marinho" is a documentary of a poluted river in the city and neighborhood that I grew up. The river has a very important aspect in the Espirito Santo's History and our main goal is to recover this river.”
