The sibs discuss whether they knew a Ferris Bueller type in high school, if Ferris' dad is actually evil, and that they both wanna make out with Jeanie. Sloane actually being a baseball fan is perhaps the most devastating revelation this podcast has ever addressed.

Reminisce about your high school German teachers with the sibs this week as they discuss Olivia Wilde's directorial debut, 2019's Booksmart. It's a real last day of school vibe here, where tangents abound (did folks know that Hugh Grant has been cast in an upcoming horror film?). The sibs try not to name names but Tristan's high school librarian is put on blast, and Shannon may or may not have destroyed her history teacher's life by gifting him a mixed CD.

Topsiders, grab your fireplace pokers and get ready to face The Tethered! This week the sibs (try to) unpack Jordan Peele's second feature, 2019's Us. Shannon gets way too bogged down in world building despite really enjoying this movie, and Tristan is really into the Victorian scissors that are the main weapon in this film. The sibs love and support everything Jordan Peele is doing and just want his next movie already.

But what do the rabbits eat?!?!

Things get aggressively French (Tristan is to blame) as the sibs discuss Céline Sciamma's 2019 masterpiece, Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Why is Shannon kind of obsessed with becoming a nun? Does Glen Powell convincingly play football with a bunch of children in Hit Man? Is this whole episode just the sibs doing relationship therapy?

This one's for all the people who run into their exes again and think "boy do I wish you were dead/miserable/ugly!" Joking of course, but also we *understand*.

This may just be the episode that gets the sibs cancelled (or at least sent to Sing Sing). For the towering achievement that is Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, no technical film criticism is offered. What the sibs can offer are meditations on death, grieving, getting horny for 25 yo Orson, and a suggestion to watch David Fincher's Mank.
