Filthy Henry and Shelly decide that in order to right a wrong, you have to do a wrong thing right. Under the cover of darkness, with no prying eyes, the pair undertake a clandestine infiltration of the most likely suspect for stealing the mothercrock. As their search turns up a number of clues, danger lurks in every shadow.

The Mothercrock is found in the most unlikely of places, while Filthy Henry learns who was behind the entire affair. Shadow dangers reveal themselves in very real ways and the fairy detective must make a choice: save Shelly or be granted his one wish.

A feast is had to replenish the body and magic of Filthy Henry while he and Shelly discuss the case. Certain clues start to fall into place, including the who and the how of a seemingly impossible crime. A romantic moment is interrupted suddenly with an unanswered question left hanging in the air.

The King of the Leprechauns is not happy and explains to Filthy Henry just how much of a problem this is for mankind. Deadlines are laid out in unfavourable terms, while the contract of the fairy detective's hiring is amended slightly. A small business owner is brought in on the case, much to their displeasure, as Shelly and Filthy Henry arm themselves for the final push to solve the case.

Time is against the fairy detective as he attempts to escape from the Stoker hunting him. Shelly has been transported to safety, half way across the city. Much to her chagrin. She races back to the office in order to assist Filthy Henry. Meanwhile Filthy Henry learns the limits of his magical abilities when faced with a blood sucking killing machine.

Shelly evaluates her relationship with Filthy Henry after the revelation about her beloved cat. Dracula keeps climbing the charts, to the point that Shelly believes Filthy Henry should be made aware of this strange fact. An honest heart-to-heart between the fairy detective and Shelly reveals some interesting facts about his past, before an explosive end to the conversation.

Potentially interesting developments in the case are revealed, while truths are shared to ensure honesty is maintained. Feelings are hurt, while a favour is called in. A magical interrogation takes place with some surprising answers given. Filthy Henry shows somebody he is a fairy detective of his word.
