We drink on some of Orion's Belt Brewing homebrew Amber Lager and Strong Pale Ale but then we get to the important stuff....like properly informing ourselves and hope our votes lead the changes we want in our administration and you know what we mean by that.
We lost a true icon with the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and her seat should not be filled until after the election or even the inauguration.
Cheers and Enjoy!
We scratch the surface on the history of dark beer; from regional water profiles and what sparked the birth of English and Irish style dark beers. We drink on some more tasty porters and stouts during this episode and bullshit a bunch also.
Cheers and Enjoy!
Our 3rd official, and technically 4th, tasting episode! We know its summer but we did lagers on the last block so we went for dark beers.
We got our hands on the Black Butte Porter from Deschutes Brewing Co. for obvious reasons and two different versions of Old Rasputin from North Coast Brewing and Culminating Mass from Breakside Brewing. It's a Portland heavy tasting but there's a lot going on in the PDX right now and we for sure talk about that too.
Cheers and Enjoy!
This episode was recorded on the 191st day of 2020, and what a century, I mean, 6 months its been. From Australia being on fire, to the race riots in the streets, covid-19 and Tronald Dump gets impeached. We also drink beer and talk about it too, haha.
Cheers and Enjoy!
Some background on the history of lagers, pilsners, and other authentic light styles, (in our opinion), that are great for summer drinking!
Cheers and Enjoy!
We have all been looking forward to this tasting episode for some time now, stupid covid virus!
Lagers from Wayfinder, Belching Beaver, Alesmith, and OEC Brewing! We had a lot of fun on this episode trying out one of all of our personal favorite styles to drink on, especially since it's summer time!
We here at Final Gravity want to let our listeners and everyone know that we stand with the Black Lives Matter Movement!
We address the current issues plaguing our country and world, talk a little beer and some farming and agriculture.
Cheers and Enjoy.
We do our best to cover the IPA in under an hour. A few more shameless plugs for PDX breweries. And breaking down the walls of the IPA, IBU, preceived bitterness, and wrecking your palette.
Music on this episode provided by 20 Grand, local Whitefish, MT 9 piece funk band with our musical break was a guitar track provided by Pedator Star whose album will be released in 2021!
Cheers and Enjoy!
Lagers on a hot day, biotransformation, and some other stuff in the first Final Gravity Mini Episode!
