Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Panther Prep at Paschal High School is a youth sports program that helps grow football and cheerleading in the local community. The program gives young athletes the opportunity to learn the basics of their sport while building confidence and teamwork. Panther Prep Football provides a competitive but supportive environment for boys in 1st through 6th grade, with younger players participating in flag football and older players playing 7-on-7 touch games. The Panther Prep Cheer program also allows girls from kindergarten through 6th grade to learn cheerleading skills while supporting the football teams during Sunday games.

As Panther Prep continues to develop each season, future leaders will need clear guidance on how to keep the program organized and running successfully. This capstone project focuses on creating an operations guide for the next owners or leaders of Panther Prep. The guide explains how the league is structured and how games, teams, and communication with families are handled. By creating this resource, the project helps future organizers continue the program and keep Panther Prep a strong part of youth sports in Fort Worth.

Finding the right information should not feel like searching through endless pages of links, especially for families looking for support and guidance. Texas Hands & Voices is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. The organization provides valuable resources, educational materials, and community connections that help families navigate communication options, advocacy, and educational opportunities for their children. Through these programs, Texas Hands & Voices works to ensure that families feel supported, informed, and empowered. Because many families rely on the organization’s website to find these important resources, clear and accessible navigation is essential. When information is difficult to locate or links are not organized effectively, families may struggle to access the tools and support available to them. Improving the structure of the website can make a significant difference in how easily families connect with the resources they need. This capstone project focuses on strengthening the website navigation and improving the organization of links and online resources for Texas Hands & Voices. By reviewing existing pages, updating links, and creating clearer pathways to important information, this project will help make the website more user-friendly and accessible. Ultimately, these improvements will allow families to more easily discover programs, connect with helpful services, and take full advantage of the support offered by Texas Hands & Voices.

Many teachers lack the resources needed to provide hands-on activities in their classrooms, especially in public schools where class sizes are large and budgets for supplies are limited. To help address this issue, I partnered with The Welman Project, a nonprofit organization that provides teachers with free classroom materials made from donated and recycled items. While these materials are valuable, they can sometimes be diverse and overwhelming for teachers to turn into structured lessons. Through my project, Recycled Science, I created a simple science model that teachers can easily use in their classrooms. The model is designed for elementary students during the weather unit and demonstrates how tornadoes work through a hands-on tornado-in-a-jar activity made from recycled materials. The project includes clear instructions and accessible materials so teachers can easily bring the activity into their classrooms, giving students an engaging way to explore science while promoting the creative use of recycled resources.

Mont Du Vin is a private wine social club created for people who enjoy learning about and tasting different types of wine. The club offers a special space for wine lovers to come together, share their passion, and discover new wines in a relaxed and exclusive setting. Members have the chance to attend wine tastings, events, and educational sessions that help them improve their wine knowledge while meeting others who share the same interest. Working with experts, Mont Du Vin aims to build a community where people can appreciate the art of wine in a fun, social atmosphere. The project has successfully created a space where wine enthusiasts can connect, learn, and enjoy their love for wine.

Since 1912, Girl Scouts have been dedicated to growing girls to be courageous and confident global citizens. By developing strategic initiatives and fostering connections within underrepresented communities, this project aims to ensure that more girls have the opportunities at reach to become leaders and service in their communities. Because every girl counts.

Nobody likes to stop their doom-scrolling to learn about yucky technical weather; they want to be entertained. One would feel silly when they face severe weather and don’t know what to do because they skipped over that boring weather video covering safety protocols–how embarrassing! Fortunately, by covering the fundamental topics of common severe weather phenomena and respective safety protocols in a fun, casual, and entertaining manner, you no longer need to worry about missing that life-saving weather video because these videos will give you such knowledge and your dopamine hit! Who doesn’t like a win-win scenario? You get to be entertained and you learn about weather safety.

For my senior partnership, I have chosen to partner with Zack Shaw Fitness. Zack Shaw is an up-and-coming entrepreneur in the Fort Worth area. ZS Fitness plans to take the form of a gym but also offers a mobile gym solution for clients all over the metroplex. The mobile gym trailer is fully functional and ready to help encourage all fitness goals.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, this Capstone partners with the Lutheran Church's Comfort Ministry and The Warm Place, a grief support center for children, to bring healing and companionship to those experiencing loss. The Comfort Dogs, trained to provide emotional support, visit The Warm Place to offer a calming presence to grieving children and families. This collaboration not only highlights the therapeutic impact of comfort animals but also raises awareness of accessible grief support resources. Through interactive sessions and outreach efforts, this Capstone project seeks to promote emotional well-being, foster resilience, and emphasize the powerful connection between humans and dogs in times of hardship.

There are many different physical therapy organizations in Fort Worth, Texas. One special organization in particular is Sandersfit Rehab and Therapy. Sandersfit Rehab and Therapy has a few locations around the state of Texas. They are looking for a new space in which they can hold more patients because they had an overbooking problem. This capstone was aimed to assist Sandersfit Rehab and Therapy by providing potential layouts and ideas on how to keep cost as low as possible.

In partnership with the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, an interactive art guide aimed for children between the ages of 13-18 was curated to help cope with grief through art. This guide was designed in collaboration with The Warm Place to be utilized as part of their curriculum.
