The risk averse mood in equity markets continued, with the S&500 down as much as 1.5% to the lowest since May, and European and Asian indices shedding between 1% and 3%. Some of that sentiment (plus a Saudi output pledge) rubbed off on oil which fell 4.5%, as well as US bond yields. The AUD and NZD were surprisingly resilient, though.
