Everyone loves to talk about relationships, but when it comes to Money and Relationships, many of those conversations can become difficult.
Whether you're single, dating, in a relationship or married, being open and honest about finances is a requirement. The more you keep it real with yourself and others, the more you'll experience healthier and fun relationships.
Stephanie Holt and Darnell McClain, my two best friends, returned to the show. I’m so excited we got to slide in this new episode while they were visiting me in Dallas, TX.
Let us know how you’re handling money convos in your relationships.
This episode is also an intro to what you can look forward to on a new podcast I will be hosting with Stephanie and Darnell later this year. No name yet, but for now catch these trio vibes.

We made it to the final fear of the 5 -Part Fear Series where I’ve been sharing some of my fears, why they exist, what I’m doing to push through those fears and how you can do the same.
Today is all about my fear of not being a great mom.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner. This is a time to appreciate and show love to the great mother’s in your life.
Although motherhood has been fun and rewarding, I still have experienced fears off and on about my ability to be a great mother. Sometimes as parents, we feel like we have to have it all figured out. We never will. And that’s ok.
The best thing we can do as parents is to just do our best with what we have right now. Enjoy the moments, but also be willing and open to learning new ways to become better parents.

Next up is Part 4 of 5 of the Fear Series where I’m sharing some of my fears, why they exist, what I’m doing to push through those fears and how you can do the same.
Today is all about my fear of losing my mom and daughter.
It’s crazy how this episode was recorded in March 2020 and in April 2020 I got huge scares that flashed before my eyes for both my mom and daughter.
On April 10, 2022 my mom had a stroke for the first time ever. She is now in recovery.
On April 20, 2022 my daughter’s dorm building at college caught fire. She and other students were relocated to temporary housing. My daughter wasn’t hurt, but at least 4 people were hurt.
We know that none of us will live forever. We are all going to die one day. We just hope that our last day is a long time from now.
The best thing we can do is appreciate the good that life has to offer and spend time with loved ones who bring positivity into our lives.
When someone you love dies, you might be sad, angry, or hurt. If you enjoy the good times while those loved ones are here, it may be easier to cope with their death once they are gone because you won’t be wishing you should have called them more or spent more time with them.
Spend more time with them now. Call them now. Text them now. Email them now. Go visit them in person now. Laugh with them now. Tell them how much you care, love and appreciate them.

Next up is Part 3 of 5 of the Fear Series where I’m sharing some of my fears, why they exist, what I’m doing to push through those fears and how you can do the same.
Today is all about my fear of not being good enough professionally.
Have you ever had a job or built a business and doubted yourself? Have you ever questioned your ability to do well enough to be seen as successful in the eyes of yourself and in the eyes of other people?
Sometimes we can be so hard on ourselves, but we need to realize that we are phenomenal. No more underestimating our skills, experience and creativity. We are valuable and unique in our own way, but we have to move like we feel it and believe it.

We are back with Part 2 of 5 of the Fear Series where I’m sharing some of my fears, why they exist, what I’m doing to push through those fears and how you can do the same.
Today is all about my fear of relationships with people in general. This could be relationships with friends, family, coworkers, people within the community, romantic relationships, business partners, etc.
We all need healthy relationships with people. When you’ve experienced enough negative situations, we can sometimes put our guard up and not want to deal with people at all.
That is no way to live. Instead of avoiding people, we should learn how to manage our feelings from those negative situations and move differently to attract healthier and more fulfilling relationships with people.

Welcome to the 5-Part Fear Series where I share my fears, why they exist, what I’m doing to push through those fears and how you can do the same.
Acknowledging fears isn't always easy, but it’s necessary. Ignoring your fears or being in denial about your fears can keep you stuck in a life you are not happy with.
Being honest about your fears and taking action to push through them allows you to truly live the lifestyle you desire.
In Part 1, I shared my fear of being broke. I struggled with money starting at 17 years old when I became a teen mom and started taking out student loan debt for college.
Then I got credit cards, payday loans, car loans, past due rent and utility bills, disconnection notices, car repossessions, wage garnishments, living paycheck to paycheck and evictions.
The financial trauma of my past still has a little hold on me because I never want to go back to where I was. Although I have overcome plenty of money challenges and accomplished a lot of money goals, part of me still fear going back to my broke days.

Sometimes we think about our financial mistakes and regret some of the decisions we have made.
We later realize that those "financial mistakes" are lessons learned. Lessons that have built our skills, knowledge and character.
Instead of regretting your past, embrace it. Be proud. Use that energy to continue living a lifestyle you desire. It only goes up from here.
Barry Spencer, author of "Wealth With No Regrets" joins us this week to explain how we all can have wealth with no regrets and use our lessons learned to guide us on our journey.
