As you will find, this episode is a reading of an article published on HoodCommunist.org. it simply argues that while communication tech has its advantages, it tends to have a net-negative effect in the lives of colonized people. Although there is potential to use digital technology to organize for the good of Africans, we should remember the counter-revolutionary potential it has, especially in the hands of abusive capitalists and imperialists. We must learn how to use these platforms in subversive ways that reduce whatever disadvantages we may be exposed to, while maintaining our stance as threats to systems of exploitation and domination.

On this freewheeling episode, i was invited by Comrade Ray from the Movement of the People (MOP). We spoke about the new student loan program that was just activated by the criminally neoliberal Nigerian government. We talked in the effects on the students and wider society, the conversation also spiraled out to the current economic conditions and how a loan program is not necessarily the solution for Nigerians. As always we ended with the need for political consciousness and the NEED to join organizations struggling to win the full spectrum liberation of Africans.
