A recording of our webinar, "Breaking the MBA Brain," an exclusive, open and honest fireside chat with 3 ambitious career and business women. Michelle (Duke 2016), Amelia (Columbia 2019) and Sara (INSEAD 2019) will share their personal experience with their "MBA brains," and where their mindset has evolved since.
In our webinar, we openly share what we've had to learn (and un-learn) through the process of leaving highly sought after industries, like consulting, private equity and tech. We also discuss our jump into entrepreneurship and how coaching has played a fundamental role.
Michelle Yu is a Career & Leadership Coach and HR consultant with nearly a decade of experience working in various HR and People Operations roles in Silicon Valley. She helps underrepresented individuals break through new barriers in their careers, so they can bridge the gap and shatter ceilings at work. With a deep understanding of Eastern and Western cultures, she helps individuals find their own unique style and edge, activate their voice and lead with confidence through a mindset and somatic approach. Michelle is an ICF certified coach and Duke MBA.
Amelia Noel is a certified life & career coach who helps Type A, high-achieving, perfectionist brains working in finance & consulting break free from the mental grind of their careers & feel less stressed, more confident & more in control at work. A Columbia MBA who spent nearly a decade working in investment banking & consulting, Amelia uses a mindset-based approach to help clients working in highly demanding industries create careers & lives they f*cking love.
Sara Lim is a certified life coach, adjunct professor, former finance minion and mother of two. She primarily works with high-performing millennial women with young children (or planning for families) who are tired of putting themselves last. She helps them gain clarity on the work-life integration they want, then take concrete steps to create it by calming their inner critic and shifting belief patterns through mindset coaching. Born and raised in Singapore and educated at UC Berkeley (US) and INSEAD (Europe), she has a deep understanding of both Western and Eastern cultures and how cultural and societal lenses impact the way we see the world.
