In this episode I discuss the next side project a friend and I worked on. He came up with an idea based around Football and banter between friends. It really sparked our interest. It was the first project that I had managed to get out to friends and family so they could test it. We got quite far with getting this to market, never managing to get people to sign up.

We found a few 'competitors' one evening doing a bit of research. Meant there was a market for it, which would have been great if we could have been able to execute on a fully fledged product.

In this episode I discuss the first ever side project a friend and I started working on. It never saw the "light of day", I learned a lot from it though. A friend came to me with an idea for a website, basically LinkedIn for start-ups. He had no idea where to start, or if it is was even possible. I jumped in head first and starting trying to make a go of it. I touch on what skills I learned from working on the project. As well as learning "what not to do" in my future projects.

Everyone loves a good origin story. Marvel has done it with Wolverine. Star Wars with Han Solo. Here is my origin story. The 18 months, 2 years of my life that led up to a point where I said, enough is enough. I have to do something for myself and really focus on my side projects. It's been a long journey since I was at "breaking point".
