Today I was feeling overwhelmed, over it, and over life. Sometimes comparison takes over and I have to ground myself and remind myself that the only person I should be comparing myself with is my old-self.
Notice all the selfs? Seems selfish reading it that way, but we do have to take care of ourselves. It is kinda like when they tell you on an airplane you have to put your mask on before you help someone else.
I want you to remember a few random thoughts;
Hurt people hurt people
Compare yourself only to your past self
Social Media isn't always as it seems
Celebrate the small victories
Remember you are worthy and so important

How often are you letting the enemy in? Those thoughts of "I'm not good enough, I'm not worthy, & I don't belong"... those are whispers from the enemy and when we entertain them, we are letting them in.
Please know that you ARE worthy, you ARE important, and YOU ARE so loved!
”We aren’t fighting against human enemies but against rulers, authorities, forces of cosmic darkness, and spiritual powers of evil in the heavens.“ Ephesians 6:12

Today's episode is a bit special, as I have author and friend Joey Hodges joining me. We are talking all things related to being a wife, mom, and Christian. What all that looks like for us, how we are navigating it, and how can we possibly find a better way.
We took a deep dive into homeschool, kids and social media, and even what we see as the hardest part of being a mom.
We saved the best for last and spoke a little on seasonal depression. What that looks like for us personally, how we are coping with it, and the real/raw truths of what you don't see on social media.
Thanks for joining us today, happy to have you here!

Let's talk all the things today!
The world trying to use your your past against you, why Jesus flipped tables, living in the dash of life, and more. Last weeks episode was heavy and came from a "hurt Holly", maybe offended is the better word. With a heart posture shift and some Jesus I feel back on track and ready to roll!
Thank you for listening and I am so glad you are here!

Today we are talking conviction, being lukewarm, prioritizing your life, back to school things, and some wild fun facts.
I have felt convicted over some things in my life lately and I feel in my heart it is because God is on the move. We're going to talk about how I have been being a lukewarm Christian and how to get back on track with priorities.
My oldest daughter went back to middle school and two weeks in we already have some stories to tell, this has me wondering if I should have her on as a guest..HA!
Let's dive in!

I am overly anxious today so it called for a mental health day. Unhinged Holly grabbed the reigns before I got out of bed this morning and it caused me to cancel ALL my plans today. Lets unpack it and talk about it!

Today we we're talking about how to fix your heart posture, getting offended, and a few off topic notes. This episode is a true look into the mess that is in my brain, we are all over the place but trying to stay on track.
Are we living life looking for the bad or are we living a life filled with positivity?

Have you ever seen that “let them” post? I loved that so much and I really resonated with it, but today we are talking how to “don’t let them." We shift gears right after because of a storm I drove through, God showed me a way of looking at leaving your past behind and not letting the darkness overtake the light. Come with me on a deep dive of my views on all of this and a part of my testimony.
Don’t let them ruin your peace
Don’t let them make you step out of character
Don’t let them get the best of you if they don’t even deserve any of you
Don’t let them cause you to compare or question your worth
Don’t let them in
