  • FINDING FELICITY: EPISODE 12 – “FRIENDS” (OR, “YOU WIN SOME…”)
Finding Felicity is a podcast where Pomonok Entertainment’s Teresa Jusino, a Felicity newbie, chats with rotating guest co-hosts who are already Felicity fans to talk about life, love, and growing up – no matter how old you are – through the lens of this coming-of-age television drama created by J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves.
IT’S THE FINAL EPISODE BEFORE OUR THREE-WEEK WINTER HIATUS! Episode 12 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Friends’ (Or, ‘You Win Some…’), as in, you win some, you lose some. In this episode we discuss the strengthening of Felicity and Elena’s friendship as Elena’s friendship with her childhood bestie, Tara, deteriorates thanks to Tara’s dalliance with Blair. Noel and Sensa’s friendship seems to be a little stronger now that Noel has been the ultimate friend and pretended to be her boyfriend to appease her mostly-male family, and Julie is dealing with strengthening a different type of relationship all together – the one between her and her birth mother (played by guest star Jane Kaczmarek!).
This week, Teresa’s guest is Paulina Bugembe – actor, writer, director…and quite possibly the world’s biggest Scott Speedman fan. Seriously, she tells a Scott Speedman story in this episode that nearly had her in tears, she was so flustered by re-living it!

  • FINDING FELICITY: EPISODE 11 – ‘GIMME AN ‘O!” (OR, ‘NOTHING SEXIER THAN A PLANNER’)
Episode 11 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Gimme An ‘O!’’ (Or, ‘Nothing Sexier Than a Planner’), and this week we talk about Felicity approaching her first sexual experience in the most focused and goal-oriented way possible, Julie and Ben getting closer, and the fact that they really need to start writing Elena better on this show. PS – Noel is still trash.
This week, Teresa breaks the format a little by having another Felicity newbie as a guest co-host! Theater director, producer and writer, Kate Motzenbacker started watching the show along with Finding Felicity! Now, she’s bringing her experience as a sex educator to the podcast, and the two talk about Felicity and Noel, their own “first times,” and the fact that “virginity” is a useless (and harmful) construct.

Episode 10 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Finally’ (Or, ‘Maybe These Drugs Will Help’) and among other things, we find several Felicity characters either ingesting or offering various substances to get through finals week: pills, “smart powder,” and “nature’s candy” (aka, fruit. Come on, Sean!)
Joining Teresa is writer/producer/director Katherine Murray-Satchell, whose digital series, The New Adult, is perfectly in line with the Finding Felicity tagline: Because coming-of-age never seems to stop. Listen as Teresa and Katherine discuss Katherine’s die-hard devotion to Noel, how “Finally” can be interpreted as a feminist episode of the series, and how Sean is actually a creepy old dude.

Abrams and Matt Reeves.
Episode 9 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Thanksgiving’ (Or, ‘Hanna’s the Best’), and it finds Felicity and friends gathered around the Thanksgiving table at Kelvin Hall to celebrate the holiday with lots and lots of drama.
Joining Teresa over turkey is film and television producer David Schatanoff Jr, whose most recent project, the award-winning digital series, L.A. Macabre, is available on Amazon Prime. Listen as they discuss the importance of one’s “chosen family,” the Mac vs. PC debate, and the glaringly obvious fact that Hanna is completely out of Noel’s league.

Abrams and Matt Reeves.
Episode 8 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Drawing the Line, Pt. 2’ (Or, ‘Picking Up the Pieces’), as it centers Julie’s efforts to move on with her life after what happened between her and Zach.
Writer/director Chelsea Steiner joins Teresa once again to close out the two-part episode they began last week. Listen as they discuss the aftermath of Julie’s rape, how annoying Felicity’s “help” is, the fact that Teresa is now firmly Team Ben, and the behind-the-scenes controversy surrounding this episode’s writer and guest star, Riley Weston.

  • FINDING FELICITY: EPISODE 7 – ‘DRAWING THE LINE, PT. 1’ (OR, ‘BOUNDARIES ARE TOTALLY A THING’)
Episode 7 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Drawing the Line, Pt. 1’ (Or, ‘Boundaries Are Totally a Thing’), and each of the show’s characters have boundaries that are crossed to varying degrees. Some of these instances are funny, others not so much.
Joining Teresa for this episode is writer/director Chelsea Steiner. Listen as they discuss the difference between real life and a rom-com, the concept of date rape, and the fact that Felicity never seems to really face any serious consequences for her actions.

Finding Felicity is a podcast where Pomonok Entertainment’s Teresa Jusino, a Felicity newbie, chats with rotating guest co-hosts who are already Felicity fans to talk about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness through the prism of this coming-of-age television drama created by J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves.
Episode 6 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Cheating’ (Or, ‘Goddamnit, Felicity!’), because OH MY GOD, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, FELICITY?? WHY??
Joining Teresa for this episode is writer, director, and actor, Daniel Lee. Listen as they discuss “being late for ethics,” the ridiculous things we do for love, and why in the name of all that is holy Daniel is such a huge fan of Noel Crane.

Abrams and Matt Reeves.
Episode 5 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Spooked’ (Or, ‘Make Like Elsa’), because Felicity finally starts learning how to let it goooooo, let it gooooo….
Joining Teresa for this episode is Laura Hunter Drago: actor, producer, and co-Editor-In-Chief of Ms.in the Biz. Listen as they discuss Halloweens past and present, how Julie and the Pink Guy are the most normal romantic interaction on Felicity, and why Noel continues to be the very fucking worst.

Abrams and Matt Reeves.
Episode 4 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Boggled’ (Or, ‘Boggle and Chill’), because much like the phrase “Netflix and Chill,” a game of Boggle in this episode of Felicity becomes about everything but playing a word game.
Joining Teresa for this episode is Crix Lee: actor, VO artist, and geek personality extraordinaire. Listen as they talk about what terrible people the characters on Felicity are most of the time as Teresa officially renounces any sort of affiliation with Team Noel. Abrams and Matt Reeves.
Episode 3 of Finding Felicity is titled ‘Hot Objects’ (Or, ‘Great Expectations’), because the biggest theme of the third episode of Felicity is the idea that life doesn’t often live up to expectations. As Sally tells Felicity, “Expectations can inspire you, but they can really let you down.”
Joining Teresa for this episode is Michelle Gomez Roshia – the podcast’s first official representative for #TeamNoel.
