When a homeless person confronts you asking for money, you’re met with a complex ethical dilemma—should I help this person or just stay out of the way?

In Finding Felony, Matt Chase, a 20-year-old film student, lets his curiosity about homelessness and desire to help lead him into an unlikely friendship with a middle-aged homeless woman named Felony. As their friendship grows, so does Matt’s knowledge of the dark underbelly of Felony’s daily reality on the streets of Phoenix—and the dangers that lurk within it. Then, without warning, Felony goes missing, sending Matt searching through a web of conspirators, drug dealers and traffickers to uncover the surprising villain behind her sudden disappearance—a predator keeping Felony and so many others trapped on the streets.
