📊 Week 13, Day 89 of 2026 | Week 165 | Livestream #563 🤗🎉
🌿 Today’s Focus: Palm Sunday & Holy Week
What if one of the most confusing weeks in history…
is actually the most important week for your life today?
On Palm Sunday — the beginning of Holy Week — Jesus entered Jerusalem as a king…
but not the king people expected.
They were looking for political rescue.
He came to bring something far deeper.
And that tension? It still shows up today.
Even if you’re not sure what you believe, this moment reveals something powerful about expectations, purpose, and how we often misunderstand what we truly need.
📖 Today’s Word:
🌱 Luke 19:28–44 (Jesus enters Jerusalem)
A powerful moment of celebration — yet filled with misunderstanding. People praised Him as king, but missed the true nature of His mission.
🌱 Psalm 88:1–18 (A cry from the depths)
One of the most honest and raw passages in the Bible. A reminder that even in darkness, confusion, or pain — we can still reach out and not hide where we really are.
🌱 Proverbs 13:12–14 (Hope and life)
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick…” — but fulfilled hope brings life. A picture of why misplaced expectations drain us, and why truth leads to real life.
🧱 Building a Better Life (Practical Application)
This isn’t just about understanding Palm Sunday or a Bible story…
It’s about:
✔ Taking ownership of your life
✔ Aligning with what truly matters
✔ Letting go of false expectations
✔ Living with clarity, purpose, and intention
✔ Becoming who you were created to be
🙌 A Foundation That Holds
Each day, we spend time in the Bible — not just for knowledge…
…but to build a life that actually stands when life gets hard.

Start YOUR DAY in the BEST WAY! ☀️🌱😃👍 With some joy, hope, encouragement, wisdom, truth, LIFE, and other "Finding Lifers" from all over the world!
👉 Today's focus: “Who are you REALLY doing life with?”
The people around us shape more of our lives than we realize… our mindset, direction, habits, and even our future.
So it’s worth asking:
👉 Who are you surrounding yourself with?
👉 Are you growing… or just staying comfortable?
👉 Are you living life in a bubble… or actually engaging with others?
📖 Today's Word:
🌱 Luke 5:29 – 6:11
Jesus spends time with people others avoided. Not by accident… but on purpose. It challenges us to step outside our comfort zones and really think about who we’re doing life with — and why.
🌱 Psalm 66:1–20
A reminder to reflect on life, both the highs and the challenges. There’s something powerful about recognizing what we’ve been through and sharing that journey with others.
🌱 Proverbs 11:24–26
A simple but powerful truth: the more we give — our time, energy, and presence — the more life seems to open up. A full life isn’t built by holding back, but by showing up.

Bible Reading & Devotional | Start Your Week with God | Luke 2:1–35 — The Often-Missed Hard Truth Spoken at Jesus’ Birth
Join the Finding LIFE morning livestream with Brian Bell as we explore Luke 2:1–35, Psalm 59:1–17, and Proverbs 11:14 in today’s Bible reading and Christian morning devotion.
The birth of Jesus is one of the most joyful moments in all of Scripture. Angels announce good news, shepherds rejoice, and hope enters the world. But hidden inside this beautiful moment is a sobering truth that many people miss.
🌱 In today’s reading from Luke 2, Simeon speaks prophetic words about Jesus that reveal both the glory and the cost of His mission. He explains that Jesus will cause many to rise, but also that He will be opposed. Simeon even tells Mary that a sword will pierce her own soul, foreshadowing the suffering that would one day come.
🌱 Psalm 59 reminds us that even when we face enemies, fear, or uncertainty, God is our refuge and strength. The psalmist cries out for deliverance and finds confidence in God’s protection.
🌱 Proverbs 11:14 teaches the wisdom of seeking counsel and guidance. Life is not meant to be navigated alone, and wise advice helps keep us on the right path.
Together these passages remind us that the life Jesus offers is both deeply joyful and deeply transformative. His coming reveals the condition of every heart and invites us to walk in truth, faith, and wisdom.

Life has moments when the weight feels too heavy to carry. In today’s passage we see one of the most intense nights of Jesus’ life — the Last Supper, His prayer in Gethsemane, and His arrest. Yet even in overwhelming circumstances, Jesus shows us a powerful pattern for how to walk through difficult seasons.
🖐️ 5 POWERFUL steps to overcome OVERWHELM
📖 Today’s Word:
🌱 Mark 14:22–52
The final Passover meal, the institution of the Lord’s Supper, Jesus’ deep anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane, and His arrest. This passage shows Jesus facing the weight of the cross while remaining faithful to the Father’s will.
🌱 Psalm 52:1–9
A psalm of David contrasting the arrogance of evil with the stability of those who trust in God. Though the wicked boast in power and deception, those rooted in God flourish like olive trees in His presence.
🌱 Proverbs 11:1–3
A reminder that God delights in honesty and integrity. While dishonesty leads to downfall, the upright are guided by their integrity and protected by wisdom.

What if everything we’ve been taught about greatness is backwards?
In today’s reading, Jesus completely redefines what it means to become great. While the world teaches us to climb higher, gain recognition, and seek position, Jesus reveals that true greatness is found through humility, service, surrender, and faith.
📖 Today’s Word:
✨ Mark 10:32–52
As Jesus journeys toward the cross, His disciples pursue status and greatness. Jesus teaches that greatness in God’s kingdom comes not from power or position, but from serving others. The healing of blind Bartimaeus beautifully demonstrates true spiritual sight, humility, and faith.
👑 Psalm 45:1–17
A royal psalm celebrating a righteous king and his eternal reign. Christians have long understood this passage as pointing forward to Christ, the true King whose rule is marked by righteousness, beauty, and everlasting joy.
🌿 Proverbs 10:22
A reminder that true blessing comes from the Lord. God’s blessing enriches life without adding sorrow, showing that lasting greatness flows from God’s favor rather than human striving.

The One Habit Jesus Never Skipped
What if the most powerful thing Jesus did wasn’t a miracle… but a habit?
In today’s reading, we see something profound: in the middle of success, crowds, and momentum — Jesus withdrew to pray. Before pressure. Before storms. Before the next miracle.
Maybe the habit we skip most is the one that matters most.
📖 Today's Word:
🌱 Mark 6:30–56
After feeding the 5,000 and ministering to massive crowds, Jesus sends the disciples away and goes up on a mountainside alone to pray. Even at the height of ministry success, He prioritized private time with the Father. Then comes the storm — and Jesus walks on water. What was cultivated in private sustained Him in public.
🌱 Psalm 40:1–10
David speaks of waiting patiently for the Lord, being lifted from the pit, and delighting to do God’s will. This psalm reminds us that alignment with God precedes effective action. Worship flows from a heart that waits and listens.
🌱 Proverbs 10:11–12
“The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life…” What flows out of us publicly is formed privately. Love covers offenses. Wisdom produces life. Our inner world shapes our outer impact.
If Jesus never skipped solitude with the Father…
should we?
Let’s talk about the habit that fuels everything else.

What If Your Greatest Need Isn’t What You Think?
In today’s live stream, we explore a powerful moment in the life of Jesus that challenges our assumptions about what we really need.
In Mark 1:29–2:12, Jesus heals many — but when a paralyzed man is lowered through the roof, He does something unexpected. Before addressing the man’s physical condition, Jesus forgives his sins. Why? Because sometimes our deepest need isn’t what we think it is. Jesus reveals that spiritual healing is greater than physical healing — and eternal matters more than temporary.
In Psalm 35:17–28, David cries out for deliverance from injustice and opposition. It’s a raw prayer from someone who feels attacked and misunderstood. Yet even in distress, David commits to praising God publicly. The psalm reminds us that our need for rescue often leads us back to dependence on God.
In Proverbs 9:13–18, we see a contrast between wisdom and folly. Folly offers what looks appealing on the surface — but leads to destruction. It’s a sobering reminder that what we want and what we truly need are not always the same.
Together, these passages challenge us to ask:
What if Jesus is addressing something deeper in your life right now?
Let’s start our week by aligning our hearts with what matters most.
Please note, there are 2 parts to Finding Life:

Why ESCAPE may NOT BE the BEST OPTION
What if the very thing you’re trying to avoid is the place where God wants to meet you most?
In today’s episode of The Good Morning Show – Finding Life LIVE!, we look at Jesus in Gethsemane — facing betrayal, anguish, and the cross — and choosing surrender over escape. When hardship feels overwhelming and there seems to be a way out, how do we know whether to run… or to trust?
📖 Today’s Word:
Matthew 26:14–46
From Judas’ betrayal to the Garden of Gethsemane, we witness the raw humanity of Jesus. He prays honestly, wrestles deeply, and ultimately submits to the Father’s will. This passage reminds us that obedience doesn’t eliminate difficulty — but it does anchor us in purpose.
Psalm 31:19–24
A psalm of trust in the middle of trouble. David declares the goodness of God even while surrounded by adversity. A powerful reminder to “be strong and take heart” when waiting on the Lord.
Proverbs 8:14–26
Wisdom speaks of her presence before creation, revealing that God’s wisdom is ancient, steady, and foundational. When we face hard decisions, we are invited to walk in wisdom rather than impulse.
🌱 Big Takeaways
Escape may offer relief — but surrender produces growth
Obedience often requires courage, not comfort
God’s wisdom guides us through what we’d rather avoid
Strength is found in trusting God’s will over our own
If you’re walking through something difficult and wondering whether to run or remain faithful — this message is for you.

The Free Gift We Often Miss — And Why
What if the most important gift God offers is freely given… yet quietly overlooked?
In today’s livestream of The Good Morning Show – Finding Life LIVE!, we reflect on Jesus’ parable of the wedding banquet and what it reveals about distraction, response, and the living God who continues to invite us into real life.
📖 Today’s Word:
Matthew 22:1–33
Jesus tells a parable about a king’s wedding invitation—revealing how easy it is to hear God’s call and still miss it. We also explore Jesus’ powerful statement that God is not the God of the dead, but of the living, reminding us that faith is meant to be alive, present, and responsive.
Psalm 27:1–6
A psalm of confidence and trust. David declares that God is his light, salvation, and stronghold—even in the face of fear. This passage invites us to seek God’s presence above all else.
Proverbs 6:20–26
Wisdom from a loving parent’s voice, warning us about the subtle dangers of temptation and short-term gratification. A reminder that God’s instruction is meant to protect life, not restrict it.
🌱 Big Ideas from Today
God’s invitation is free—but it still requires a response
The greatest spiritual danger isn’t rejection, but distraction
Faith isn’t just something we believe—it’s something we live
God is a living God, inviting us into real life here and now
Whether you’re feeling busy, weary, or searching for clarity, this message is an invitation to slow down, notice what God is offering, and respond with an open heart.

Join us as we interact and lay the foundation for LIFE in God's Word — a short daily reading of New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.
🗣️ Today's core message:
Unforgiveness often feels justified. It can feel protective—even necessary. But Jesus teaches that what we refuse to release can quietly imprison us. Today’s Scriptures reveal how mercy, forgiveness, and freedom are deeply connected—and how grace was never meant to stop with us.
📖 Today’s Word:
Matthew 18:21–19:12
Peter asks Jesus how often we should forgive, and Jesus responds with a radical, life-altering answer. Through the parable of the unforgiving servant, Jesus shows that forgiven people are called to forgive—not out of obligation, but because grace must flow. When mercy stops with us, it begins to cost us our freedom, peace, and joy.
Psalm 23:1–6
This beloved psalm reminds us that God is a shepherd who restores our souls. Forgiveness is part of that restoration. As we trust God to lead, provide, and protect us, we learn that we don’t have to carry what He never intended us to hold. Peace flows when we surrender control and resentment to Him.
Proverbs 5:22–23
These verses warn that our own choices can become chains. What we cling to—whether sin, pride, or unforgiveness—can quietly bind us. Wisdom invites us to release what entangles us before it costs us more than we ever imagined.
🌱 Big Idea for Today:
Unforgiveness feels like power—but it always comes with a price. Forgiveness isn’t about excusing wrong; it’s about choosing freedom.
Grace in… grace out.
Please note, there are 2 parts to Finding Life:
