Too light skinned for the black communities, too dark skinned for the Mexican community, and living in primarily white communities most of his life, Kevin struggled to find his place. From growing up in extreme poverty, to being bullied for his race and effeminate ways, he forged friendships in leadership around him. It wasnt until he started community college where he found a group of charismatic and welcoming gays that he finally found the community he had been searching for.
