She never knew that not knowing how to iron would lead to a Yale costuming internship that would lead her to making veils for Mama Mia and hats for John Lithgow, Bernadette Peters, and the Undertaker. She followed unexpected paths and met amazing people who were the top of their field, every step of the way. Now she uses the knowledge she gained along the way to teach other.

    Seeing his first black drag queen show changed his life forever. 

    Emcee, Entertainer, Activist and alter ego of Poison Waters, Co-hostess of Darcelle XV Showplace, or guest today is the amazing Kevin Cook. 

    Too light skinned for the black communities, too dark skinned for the Mexican community, and living in primarily white communities most of his life, Kevin struggled to find his place. From growing up in extreme poverty, to being bullied for his race and effeminate ways, he forged friendships in leadership around him. It wasnt until he started community college where he found a group of charismatic and welcoming gays that he finally found the community he had been searching for. Now he is one of the busiest, most sought after drag queen performers in the Pacific Northwest.
