Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in the mystery.

It is His secret plan.

Destined before the ages to bring us into glory.

None of the rulers of this present world order understood it, for if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of shining glory.

This is why the scriptures say, things never discovered or heard of before.

Things beyond our ability to imagine.

These are the many things God has in store for all His lovers.

But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit.

Yes, He has revealed to us that His innermost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things. After all, who can really see into a person's heart and know his hidden impulses except for that person's spirit?

So it is with God. His thoughts and secrets are only fully understood by His Spirit, the Spirit of God.

And can I, maybe I do take some steps that I call them the temporary solutions, you know. I make a 911 call. But then can I start loving my neighbor to show him, to disciple him in a different way of living?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that's where it's really, I think we have to live it out. Yeah. All right. But that's where you really got depend on the Holy Spirit. Well, yeah.

Because, I mean, I'm among people all the time. I don't see a lot of hunger for the Lord. I'm not, I'm just saying, and I could be absolutely wrong. But I just see people that want a temporary release or relief.

I think that's the human condition. I really don't want to change. I just want some relief. Yeah, that's me. Yeah. It's kind of like, you know, I don't want to go on a diet and exercise and do all these healthy things.

That's what's so amazing about E. Stanley Jones' tremendous insight that he had 90 years ago. Talking about the great crisis that the world was coming to, Christianity was coming to. We are gonna have to make a decisive decision. I think we're in the midst of it now.

Yeah. Yeah. But I think our default human position is always to hang on to what has always been. And to keep the systems and the structures in place because we're comfortable with that.

I don't know if it did much for coffee. That was Larry's typical way of trying to pay somebody a compliment. I thought it was a compliment. It's pretty good coffee. It's a little better than the mud.
