  • What Happens When the Life You Planned Falls Apart?

"The Impediment to action advances action, what stands in the way, becomes the way" - Marcus AureliusThere will be a time in our lives when god will throw an insurmountable challenge our way. You will start questioning, "Why is this happening to me?" how you act then will define the course of your life.Andy faced a challenge like this when he was only 15, he got diagnosed with an extremely rare autoimmune disease. This took a toll on his health and his life not to mention made him self conscious about his looks. However, this did not stop him, as he realized that this obstacle is actually the way. He used the challenges he faced to fortify his mind and went on to create a life he could have never imagined. He started his own production studio called RoyalZproduction, that has created an impact locally and has helped my upcoming videographer with Youtube Tutorials. He also started a cold plunge business called "Kryo" that is endorsed by many big names like Jake Paul, Dana White, Edmonton Oilers and many other names. Andy's story is a story of hope, it is a story of realizing that no matter the challenges you face in life, you can overcome them. Join me today on Finding Purpose with Nikhil as we unfold the chapters of Andy's life and hope to help you find your purpose in life. • He got kicked out - Then made $10K/month

At 19, Johan Torino lost the production-company job many young filmmakers were working toward. He had three options: find another safe job, return to school or bet on himself.

    He chose the camera.

In this episode of *Finding Purpose with Nikhil*, Johan shares the unpolished story behind building Torino Visions: crying after being laid off, scraping his savings, being kicked out during conflict at home and accepting a challenge from his father—make $10,000 within one year or return to school.

Johan says the business went on to generate $50,000 in its first year and later crossed $10,000 in one month. But the real payoff was not financial. It was the moment his father saw the evidence, understood the work and apologized for doubting him.

We also discuss why creative talent alone does not attract clients, the difference between studying and executing, the emotional cost of outgrowing friendships, how relationships create opportunities and why every creative professional eventually has to learn sales.

This is a conversation about replacing permission with evidence—and what “following your passion” demands after the slogan ends.
