Story Transcript:
Cy: Ymhlith y bryniau eiraog yng Nghymru, roedd cwtsh y caban yng Nghopaon Brecon yn cynnig lloches rhag y gaeaf garw.
En: Among the snowy hills in Cymru, the snug cabin in the Copaon Brecon offered a shelter from the harsh winter.
Cy: Roedd Carys yn gorwedd ar y soffa, ei throed wedi'i lapio mewn rhwymyn.
En: Carys lay on the sofa, her foot wrapped in a bandage.
Cy: Roedd hi wedi anafu ei ffêr wrth sgïo.
En: She had injured her ankle while skiing.
Cy: Roedd hi'n benderfynol o wella'n gyflym, roedd hi eisiau ymuno â'r daith gerdded Gŵyl Dewi gyda'i ffrindiau.
En: She was determined to recover quickly because she wanted to join the St. David's Day walk with her friends.
Cy: Roedd Rhys ac Evan, ei ffrindiau, yn brysur yn hel coed tân tu allan.
En: Rhys and Evan, her friends, were busy gathering firewood outside.
Cy: Roedd y tân gwreichion yn y lle tân cerrig yn llenwi'r caban â gwres a chyfforddusrwydd.
En: The crackling fire in the stone fireplace filled the cabin with warmth and comfort.
Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod oer, gyda gwynt yn chwythu trwy'r dyffryn.
En: It was a cold day, with wind blowing through the valley.
Cy: "Dylai Carys orffwys," meddai Rhys, gan roi llond llaw o goed ar y llawr ger y drws.
En: "Carys should rest," said Rhys, placing a handful of wood on the floor near the door.
Cy: "Mae angen amser arni i wella.
En: "She needs time to heal."
Cy: ""Ond mae hi'n benderfynol," atebodd Evan.
En: "But she's determined," replied Evan.
Cy: "Yn dal i fyny ei hysbryd annibynnol.
En: "Still holding onto her independent spirit."
Cy: "Wrth i'r dydd fynd yn ei flaen, dechreuodd môr o eira gwibio o'r awyr, y sŵn gwynt yn cryfhau.
En: As the day passed, a sea of snow began to whirl from the sky, the sound of the wind intensifying.
Cy: Gwnaeth Carys edrych trwy'r ffenestr, yn gweld y gwyn mwyaf yn raddol gorchuddio’r olygfa.
En: Carys looked through the window, seeing the greatest white gradually covering the view.
Cy: Roedd yma y frwydr fewnol - a ddylai symud yn groes i'r cyngor, neu a ddylai gymryd amser i wella?
En: There was an internal struggle—should she move against the advice, or should she take the time to heal?
Cy: Tua diwedd y prynhawn, daeth y storom eira.
En: Towards the end of the afternoon, the snowstorm arrived.
Cy: Roedd Rhys ac Evan yn dal yn yr awyr agored, y sŵn yn gymysg â chynhesrwydd llais Carys o'r tu mewn.
En: Rhys and Evan were still outdoors, the sound mingling with the warm voice of Carys from inside.
Cy: Roedd hi am fynd allan, am eu helpu.
En: She wanted to go out, to help them.
Cy: Ond rhybuddiodd llais cyffredin ei feddwl.
En: But the common sense voice in her mind warned her.
Cy: Roedd rhaid iddi gadw ei lle.
En: She had to stay in place.
Cy: Pan ddaeth Rhys ac Evan mewn, eu dillad wedi'u gorchuddio ag eira, ymlaciodd Carys rywfaint.
En: When Rhys and Evan came in, their clothes covered in snow, Carys relaxed somewhat.
Cy: Cafodd hi sylweddoli bod cymorth ffrindiau hefyd yn gryfder.
En: She realized that the help of friends was also a strength.
Cy: Gydag uned tyn, treuliodd y tri y noson wrth y tân, yn adrodd straeon ac yn mwynhau cwmni ei gilydd.
En: As a tight unit, the three spent the evening by the fire, telling stories and enjoying each other's company.
Cy: Ynghanol gwres a llewyrch y tân, ddechreuodd Carys weld bod derbyn help a bod yn rhan o gymuned yn rhan o gryfder.
En: Amidst the warmth and glow of the fire, Carys began to see that accepting help and being part of a community is part of strength.
Cy: Gan edrych ymlaen at ddiwrnod Gwyl Dewi, gwelodd bod derbynoliaeth yn gallu bod lawn mor bwerus ag annibyniaeth.
En: Looking forward to St. David’s Day, she saw that receptiveness could be just as powerful as independence.
Cy: Aeth y storm heibio, gyda'r bore yn dod â haul a thawelwch newydd.
En: The storm passed, with the morning bringing new sunlight and tranquility.
Cy: Er nad oedd hi'n barod i gerdded eto, roedd hi'n ddiolchgar am y pethau roedd hi wedi'u dysgu.
En: Although she wasn't ready to walk yet, she was grateful for the things she had learned.
Cy: Roedd hwn yn amser o gryfder mewn derbyn, ac ymdeimlad newydd o gymuned.
En: This was a time of strength in acceptance, and a new sense of community.
Cy: Roedd Carys yn gwybod bod ei ffrindiau yno, yn barod i roi llaw, unwaith fyddai hi'n barod i fynd a chrwydro eto.
En: Carys knew her friends were there, ready to lend a hand, once she was ready to go and roam again.
