Have you ever wondered?...Why is it so hard for us to break out of our comfort zone? What is so comfortable about staying in the same place? This is a topic that even I crave new learnings on because it’s something WE ALL struggle with at some point in our lives. I know from time to time I face hardship dealing with it. I also know that a lot of my clients also struggle with the same issue of breaking out of it and not understanding why they can’t. In this episode, I am talking about YOUR comfort zone - looking at it through different lenses, why breaking out of it is important and ways to do it.
So…. you want to start a side hustle or a business. I know many of you have been thinking about this for a while. And I know that there is a lot of talk in the media, on social media, just in society in general right now about starting a side hustle or starting a business with the uncertainty that has been predicted.
There are many people that are promoting this as something that is a good decision, and I don't disagree. However, I think it's a personal choice of whether you actually want to have a business, or have a nine to five and have a side hustle. Now obviously I'm an entrepreneur, so I support that idea as I've started my own business .
Either way, however, you slice it, even if you ARE going to start a business, doing it while you have a nine to five is one of the most efficient and effective ways that you can do that.
As we're in the beginning of a new year, one of the things that always comes up is the planning stage and getting all your diaries, your calendars, your planners... all of the tools that you use for your time management and planning...getting those together.
In today’s episode I am talking about how you do that and how that's evolved... and how you can continue to change and embrace the new ways to do things with innovation and technology.
Can you believe we are entering a new year? I feel like it is wild, how fast 2022 went by. And I think like everyone, I am in a state of reassessing what the year was like, kind of trying to analyze what I want to do differently for 2023, not only in my business, but in my life. In this episode, I am giving you some real talk and pulling back the curtain and letting you hear, from my perspective, what's been rolling around in my head with regards to that process.

Tune in to find out what we have in store on the podcast for the new year!
Why is it that we find it hard to take a break? As an entrepreneur, as a business leader, whether you're a CEO or an executive, I know you are familiar with this situation. Today on the podcast, we are talking about why you need to stop the cycle of non-stop working, how to take a break. And why it's timely and why we're talking about it today is because as we come to the start of the holiday season, and the start of a new year, many people will be taking a break, will you?
Many of you may admire someone that you’ve encountered and you believe is a great leader. I know that I have a few. But what is it that makes that person a GREAT leader? What are the traits that they possess that makes them great? This is an important discussion that should resonate for any leader – whether you are leading your own teams as a business owner, or a corporate leader, or in any type of leadership role, or a member of a team, this topic applies. One of the most challenging things for leaders is to reflect on and hold the mirror up to themselves in terms of how they are operating, what actions are they taking, what are they bringing to their leadership effort, and how their behaviors work with their teams. In this episode, I am talking about how to identify the traits needed and fine tune the action to align with those characteristics of leadership that you value.
At this time of year, we are reminded and most of us are more intentional to take time to count our blessings and be grateful. I think most of us all strive to do that every day -- I know I do, but it can be hard when we are busy dealing with the day-to-day reality of life. The values of gratitude and abundance are common themes that resonate with people globally and most have intentions to make it a habit. Well after 20 years of subscribing to these principles, I finally was truly able to practice it by just making that part of my daily routine.
In this episode, I am talking about how I did that and challenging you to find a way to integrate it into your daily life and really practice it. Because without practice, we're not truly able to benefit from living the values of gratitude and abundance. And that PRACTICE is what keeps you centered in the place that allows you to focus on what you HAVE (the upside) rather than what you don’t have …and that allows more abundance in all areas of your life.
