George Orwell wrote 1984 about the coming authoritarianism of the modern age.  Les, Jon and Peter wrote “It was a bright cold day in April…” about plant people, sexuality, and overly competitive hobbyists.  Which story is more poignant today?  We can’t answer that.

But probably ours.
