John explains that once Christians are removed from the earth in the rapture, the “man of lawlessness or the anti-Christ” will appear.  Many will worship him as the world’s savior initially but soon his ruthless nature will come through as the Tribulation begins.  Finally, John discusses the Judgment Day that is coming for all mankind.

Remember when we were kids and everyone over forty seemed ancient?  Well, here we are as Senior Citizens and we are starting to feel the effects of our age.  Our bodies are suddenly experiencing new aches and pains.  Our minds are slowing down and our memories are growing foggy.  Aging is not for the faint of heart.

As we watch world events unfold, we see Biblical prophecy about the end times being fulfilled before our eyes.  Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 24 that nation would rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.  He also said that in the end-times, there would be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  In Ezekiel and Revelation, we read about many nations going to war against Israel.  This is all happening right now!

As Christians, we don’t need to be afraid, but we do need to prepare.  In I Peter 4, Revelation, Ephesians, and Isaiah we are given ten specific things that we need to do. The Three Amigos of Finish Strong wrap up their time together at the National Religious Broadcaster’s Convention in Nashville in this episode. John Schlitt and Benny DiChiara are blessed with distinctive rock and roll voices.  They realize they have God-given gifts and they are using them to spread His Gospel.  In this podcast, they both reveal their desire is to spread the love of Jesus to as many as possible because they believe we are living in the end times.

Benny DiChiara shares a powerful story of a recent performance with his band “Empowered.”  In the middle of the third song, they had a major technical problem.  As the sound man scrambled to fix the problem, Benny asked the audience if anyone needed prayer.  What happened next was life-changing for the band and the person needing prayer.  “Dead space on stage kills and dead space in your life kills as well. God took ten minutes of our concert to change lives,” Benny explains.

Kim Gentry Meyer has been blessed with many gifts.  She is a talented poet, singer, songwriter, pianist and artist.  She was Mrs. Massachusetts in 2020 and recently released her debut album entitled Herald.  On this album she uses all of her God-given abilities.  She wrote all of the songs, painted a different sunset for each song, sang the songs and played piano.  Her goal is to use all of her gifts and talents to glorify the Lord.

Kim was raised in a family with a long legacy of serving the Lord.  Her two great- grandmothers were in ministry.  One was an evangelist and the other was a church planter.  This was back in the day when women were somewhat limited in the role they played in church, especially in the deep south.  

Today Kim leans into the Christian legacy of her family.  With a goal to Finish Strong, one of her favorite quotes is from Erma Bombeck.  It says, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope I can say I have nothing left.  I used every-

thing you gave me.”

At the age of fourteen, David Welday attended a Christian camp with a specific goal in mind. He believed it was time to “kiss a girl.”  That didn’t happen but he did fall in love with Jesus.  From that point on, he wanted to serve Jesus with everything he had.

While he once said that he didn’t want to work for a Christian company, he eventually founded one.  In 2004, he began Higher Life Publishing Company.  Since that time, he has published over two hundred and fifty books and many of them contain a strong Christian message.

What does Easter mean to you? Is it one of the few days of the year when you attend church? Do you think of a family get-together that culminates in a delicious meal complete with dessert? Easter represents the greatest day in history!
