Brian, Terry and Dan celebrate One Hundred episodes of Finish Strong!  This edition is filled with fun and excitement as they look back on their favorite episodes and look forward to the future.  PLUS, you’ll hear from John, our producer, and Deb Roland and Karen Steen. Dr. David Clark has a lengthy resume of service and leadership.  It would take several pages to list everything that this amazing man of God has done.  From college professor to university president to executive producer of major television programs to serving on many Boards of Trustees of major ministries, Dr. Clark has certainly not lived a life of leisure.  

Even though he is now in his eighties, he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.  He is a wonderful example of a Godly man who is Finishing Strong.  Dr. Clark is a humble servant and he shares his Godly wisdom and life lessons on this edition of our podcast.

Benny DiChiara is a talented singer/songwriter and front man for the Christian rock band Empowered.  But in 2015 his future and his life were in jeopardy after he took an inexplicable hard fall in his home. The accident left him with two fractures of the skull and bleeding on the brain.  After several days in the hospital, he spent a month at home sleeping twenty hours a day.  Toward the end of that time, he heard an audible voice that dramatically changed his life.

Benny made a remarkable recovery.  This experience led to a deep desire to share God’s love and a creative season that led to several number- one songs on the IndieGospel.net charts.  He says that “this journey has taken him from lost to found and from aimless to empowered.”

John Schlitt always dreamed of being a rock star.  His dream came true with a band called Head East shortly after he graduated from college. However, the rock star lifestyle started taking its toll and John became addicted to cocaine.  His addiction reached a peak in 1980, when he was fired from the band.  John became so depressed in the months that followed that he planned to end his own life.  On the very day that he planned to do it, he met with his wife’s pastor.  God intervened in a miraculous way and turned his life around.

Franklin Graham pulled the fire alarm in the opening session of the 2023 National Religious Broadcasters Convention recently held in Orlando, Florida.  He warned that, “every demon from hell has been turned loose on our nation.”  He then urged broadcasters to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus more boldly than ever!

Our Finish Strong team is “fired up” after three days of sessions and workshops that focused on Christianity being under fire in America.  Our freedom of speech and many other rights are under attack from far-left forces that seemed determined to destroy our country.

The good news is that Christians and other conservatives are fighting back and this podcast is part of it!  Brian, Terry and Dan share their takeaways and vision for the future as they encourage you to be bold and Finish Strong!

Enduring physical abuse that lead to hospitalization. Outlasting the mental abuse of being held prisoner in her own home.  Reliving the memory of being frozen in place, holding her baby, as he held a gun to her head, threatening to kill her and her children.  How could anybody forgive after going through such torture?

The New Age movement gained tremendous momentum around the world in the early 1980’s and it has grown in its scope and influence ever since.  The belief is that our world is about to enter a New Age that will be filled with peace, prosperity and unity.

New Age practices and beliefs combine eastern mysticism with psychology and physics.  It’s goal is for individuals to get in touch with their “higher self” and help to raise “world consciousness” to save the planet.  The ultimate goal of this movement is a one world currency, a one world government and a one world religion. 

The “higher self” concept teaches that we can all be our own god if we get the proper knowledge.  In other words, it is the same lie that satan used in the garden of Eden when he told Adam and Eve that surely would not die if they ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge.  For then they would be like God.

 Brian, Dan and Terry explore this dangerous movement in this week’s episode or Finish Strong.  They will help you stay alert as many are being deceived even inside the church.
