How and where can we experience the joy of life in this stage as we finish well? All of this and more on today's episode! Visit finishingwellministries.org/podcast to hear more.   Poem:  Rabbi Ben Ezra (1st stanza)

Grow old along with me!
The best is yet to be,
The last of life, for which the first was made:
Our times are in His hand
Who saith “A whole I planned,
Youth shows but half.” trust God: see all, nor be afraid!”

Growth often happens during struggle. Consider the struggle of the catipillar. Without the struggle of escapting the coccoon, it would not be strong enough to live as a butterfly. In the same way, our hardships can be the "strength training" for what God has for us next. Visit finishingwellministries.org/podcast to hear more.

A great question to ask is "what won't happen if I don't do what God calls me to do?" When we think about the reasons we often give ourselves for NOT doing the things we know we should, do we think about the roadblock or the result? When we focus on the possible result, we find a drive and passion to finish well. Visit finishingwellministries.org/podcast to hear more.

Hal interviews Randy and our guest this week, Seth Muse. Randy has been mentoring Seth for the last 6 years on a wide range of topics. We sit down with both of them and talk about why the relationship started, how they continued it, and what value each of them got from it. Seth went from being a youth pastor, to a marketing manager, to a communications director, to starting his own business in those 6 years, so there's a lot to unpack in this exciting episode!
