It's a different format with a new presenter, the show's producer Joanne Cousins, joining Dexter on the mic for the first time.

Every Monday we'll cover investment at home and overseas, bringing you the latest people on the move and reporting on upcoming events in Fintech. We'll also be speaking to guests and sharing their wins.

In episode 119 of Fintech Chatter, Dexter Cousins is joined by Dan Jovevski, CEO and founder of WeMoney.

WeMoney is a social financial wellness platform aimed at helping people achieve their financial goals.

Since starting in 2020 WeMoney has built a strong community of users and has more than 300,000 downloads. And in 2021 WeMoney won the coveted People's Choice Award for Emerging Fintech at the Finnies Awards.

This week they announced a AU$7m capital raise to help scale the business and develop new products.

Dan is a second-time founder, having founded, scaled and exited his first FinTech - SwitchMyLoan.com.au back in 2016.

Dan shares some of his secrets on building a purpose/community-led Fintech. A little tip, it takes more than just a Discord group 😉

In Episode 118 of Fintech Chatter Dexter Cousins is joined by Lisa Virgo, Chief People Officer at Tic:Toc Homeloans.

Tic:Toc, is a platform Fintech company based in Adelaide, South Australia - with a growing presence in Sydney.  Founded in 2015, but launched to the public in July 2017, Tic:Toc offers automated digital home loans to consumers while selling its automation technology to other lending businesses.

Lisa has been emersed in the journey of Tic:Toc from the early days, from a start-up with 9 employees to scaling the headcount of approximately 130 employees.

Dexter talks to Lisa about the lessons they have learned along the way, including:

- How P&C delivers the growth strategy for the CEO/Founder
- The importance of values from day one
- How Tic:Toc have managed remote working
- Avoiding the growing pains
- Setting principles around salaries and remuneration

In Episode 117 of Fintech Chatter podcast, Dexter Cousins is joined by Fintech Leader of the Year, Dom Pym.

Dom is co-founder of Up and Ferocia and has made successful exits from Pin Payments and Nutmeg.

Dexter first met Dom in 2018 as Up went into Beta phase - He made the bold claim back then that Dom was the Steve Jobs of Aussie Fintech.

Since then Up has become a world-class digital bank and Dom has had a massive impact on Fintech Down Under.

In Ep116 of Fintech Chatter Podcast Dexter Cousins is joined by Leda Glyptis, Chief Client Officer for 10x Banking.

In late 2019 Westpac and 10x announced a world first. One of the world's biggest banks partnering with a Fintech startup to build a Banking as a Service platform, so Westpac could partner with other Fintech startups.

In another world first, Westpac announced Afterpay would become the first customer of the 10x BaaS partnership.

Founded by banking legend Anthony Jenkins (previously global CEO of Barclays Bank) and based in London, 10x Banking has also partnered with JP Morgan Chase to launch a UK digital retail offering.

Dexter and Leda talk about 10x Bankings plans for Australia and just how much the Australian Fintech scene has evolved since Leda's last visit to Australia for Sibos in 2018.

Leda is Chief Client Officer of 10x Banking. A former banker, technology executive and founding CEO of 11:FS Foundry, leading the growth of its modular core digital banking offering. Prior to that, Leda was Chief Innovation Officer at Qatar National Bank, the largest bank in the Middle East and North Africa, with responsibilities for employee-driven and market-led innovation strategy and execution. 

Prior to QNB, Leda was a Director at business and technology consulting firm Sapient, focusing on digital transformation and emerging technologies, and led EMEA innovation at BNY Mellon. Leda joined BNY Mellon from fintech start-up Great East London Software, where she served as Head of Services Development. 

Leda holds an MA from King’s College, Cambridge, and an MSc and PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has taught politics, global governance and management principles, while working in management roles across various industries.
