  • 55. Andrette Chapman "Don't Punch Your Boss in the Face" "Diary of a Preacher's Kid Series" Part 4 Episode 055
    Dear Diary,

I Don’t want to punch my boss in the face! I am miserable at work! People are so unfair and difficult to deal with? I’m difficult to deal with at times if you push me! How do I effectively work with difficult people in the workforce? Somebody help me!!!

Does this sound familiar to you? Is this you perhaps? Or are you the work bully?

Andie the Author wrote a book titled “Don’t Punch Your Boss in the Face”, How to Effectively Work with Difficult People. I got so excited when I met her at Black Writers Weekend last year, bc I was actually going through a very disheartening situation at the time with a corporation that I was working with at the time. So was I compelled to read this book. It actually helped me learn how to deal with difficult people, and I learned how to be of good character in each difficult situation til this day!
    Such a fantastic fun read!

Work can be quite frustrating, but it doesn’t have to be. The truth is that we don’t have to let the tension, conflicts and misunderstandings get us down. We can do something about them.

Today we’re answering your questions about difficult people, and how to cope with them.

  • 53. Dr. Pastor Jamal Bryant: The Great Divide: "Diary of a Preacher's Kid" Part 2: Episode 053
Thank you for tuning into our new series titled, "Diary of a Preachers Kid"

Which is A non-religious take on faith from someone one who is trapped in two worlds. This series will be teaching you on how to live a more fulfilled life and help guide you on the right path spiritually to become your full potential and live out your bold purpose!

Today we are addressing the great divide that is happening here in the spiritual realm, among the people and the church in this new millinium.

Millennials are leaving religion — especially Christianity — and they’re not going back.

The church has faced consistent struggles over the past centuries, and one particular struggle may cause a future epidemic. Research indicates Millennials (individuals ages 22-37 in 2018) have been leaving the church in great numbers. Study shows 59% of millennials raised in church have already left.

In 2019, roughly two-thirds attend worship services “a few times a year” or less, and some say they never go. A decade ago, it was more than half. Whats really going on?

There have been worries members of the younger generation are turning to religions such as Islam or practicing atheism. However, CBN News recently reported on the growth of the "None" movement. "Nones" are people identifying themselves as having no religious affiliation. Many believe there is a God but have lost the desire to be affiliated with a religion.

Today I’m with special guest Dr. Jamal Bryant who is the senior pastor at mega church New Birth M. B. Church right here in Atlanta, GA.

  • 52. Darlene McCoy "Jesus Was Eclectic-Decades": Diary of a Preacher's Kid Part 1: Episode 052

This series will be teaching you on how to live a more fulfilled life and help guide you on the right path spiritually to become your full potential and live out your bold purpose!

    SO Dear Diary,

What do you when you have lost your religion?

For many, religion is a core part of their identity,

The meaning they find in life, and their social world. The crucial aspect of themselves have significant psychological consequences.

I was a devout person in the church…

The side effects of losing your religion is increased emotional distress, isolation and waywardness.

You see, losing one’s faith usually leads to the loss of one’s community, family, and overall structure in which held their entire life together. To say it’s daunting would be the understatement of the century; things seem to spiral out of control.

We have special guest, Darlene McCoy, and she going to help me pick up the pieces on helping me find my true purpose in God! Join me as we go over her new EP titled, "Jesus Was Eclectic-Decades" Today is Fire to Inspire's 1 year anniversary and my Birthday! So let's Party with a Purpose!
