1 John 3:1 “What manner of love has the Father lavished on us that we should be called children of God...and that is what we are.”God is a loving Father whose greatest desire is to love on people! He longs to daily & continually "lavish" His love upon us in waves! Come close to Him & He will come close to you.

Psalm 27:8 “When You said, “Seek My face”, my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.”Everyone can hear the voice of God & everyone can respond to Him…the difficult thing is cultivating the discipline it takes to obey Him time after time. It's a good thing that God made provision for us by giving us a gift from Holy Spirit called, "Self-Control".So, it is the everyday decisions…the seemingly insignificant moments when we tune into His voice & respond to Him that will make this a lifestyle & not just a goal.

FREEDOM = the ability to control myself or the ability to be in control of the issues of my life.BONDAGE = giving up my power to make decisions to another who doesn’t act in my best interests. This is not an independent ability…independence from God is the greatest bondage known to man. I can do anything that I want to…but because I am free & am in a covenant with a Father who wants greatness for me, I choose to only do what benefits me.Romans 8:1-2 “There is therefore, now no condemnation for those who are “in” Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you “FREE” from the law of sin and death.”Galatians 5:1 “It is for “FREEDOM” that Christ has set you free; therefore, keep standing firm & do not be subject again to a yoke of bondage.”1 Corinthians 6:12 “All things are lawful (permissible) for me, but not all things are beneficial. All things are lawful (permissible) for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.”2 Peter 2:19 “…for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.”

Prophecy is simply hearing what God says & repeating it when He tells us to. Anyone can prophesy & all believers should pursue this free gift.GOD IS NICE; THEREFORE, HE SAYS NICE THINGS.The prophets & prophecies in the Old Testament/Covenant were different than they are under the New Covenant! Under the Old, the issue between God & man had not been resolved & demanded punishment; therefore, the prophecies reflected this conflict.Under the New, the issue between God & man has been resolved because Jesus became our punishment; therefore, prophecies should reflect this new reality of grace.Grace empowers; therefore, prophecy should be EMPOWERING!

What happens when we add our yes to His YES? It's called "agreement" & it's supernatural!2 Corinthians 1:20 says, "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are all YES in Christ. And through Him the amen is spoken by us to the glory of God."

God longs for us to allow His Word & promises to create room in us for the increase He has already credited to our account. The days of His blessing just "getting us even" need to end. We have been called to live in bounty, because when righteous people prosper, they solve the issues of their day."When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices..." Proverbs 11:10
