Who we know God to be, according to our relationship with Him, determines the parameters of how He operates in our lives. God is longing for us to make the relational connection between His acts & His ways. His acts tell what He is doing; His ways tell why He is doing it. His acts reveal His nature. He doesn't send peace; He is peace. Who do you say that He is?

We are a completely new being with a new name that was given to us by our Heavenly Father! Once we gain revelation of our Heavenly identity, sin will no longer be an issue because we will produce who we believe we are! The key to this new identity is to be rightly related to our Father…or to be CONNECTED TO OUR FATHER!

Our firstfruits belong to the Lord. In the Kingdom of God, being faithful with what we currently are responsible for is what qualifies us for increase.

When we said "Yes" to Jesus, our sinful nature was crucified with Him at the cross. So, we don't necessarily have a sin nature problem, we have an "AFFECTION" problem. When we govern our affections, our lifestly lines up with God's purpose for our lives.

God is longing for our understanding of grace to line up with His. Grace is constant and unchanging...it does not grow or decrease based upon our performance; whether good or bad! It's time for us to make the shift from, "there is a place I can go when I have failed that makes me feel better" TO, "there is a place that I can live that makes me feel better!" Grace is the antedote and the anti-serum!

There is a story at the end of 2 Kings 6 and first part of 2 Kings 7 about 4 lepers who discovered an oasis of food & supplies during a famine. One of the lepers felt that it was wrong for them to keep the blessing to themselves while eveyone else suffered. I hear the Lord saying the same thing to us today...

There are at least 2 enemies to abiding with Him: #1 is compartmentalizing our lives. We have our work, family, friend, church, party and secret personalities. We take one hat off and put another on...but God longs to be the center of our lives so that He can integrate all of us into one healthy and whole person.#2 is religion and religious exercises. Religion and it's traditions dull the awareness of His Presence or insulate us from recognizing our great need for Him.

We too often fill our lives with activities, chores, entertainment or drama and not HIS Presence. Without His Presence, life is meaningless!

Cultures that are softened toward God and His Kingdom can be shaped by the "and suddenlies" or flash flood revivals...I love flash floods of God's Kingdom, but cultures with hardened hearts must be shaped by the consistent flow and presence of the river of God!In Ezekiel 47, the further from the temple or altar of God, the deeper the river was. We must manifest deep encounters with God's love within the natural rhythm of our lives.

A culture of honor is an atmosphere, purposely created, where people are treated and dealt with according to who they are in God's eyes. When people are treated with honor, in time, they will begin to demonstrate their heavenly personality here on the earth. Honor is what caused a thief and disgraceful man like Zaccheus to give all his money to the poor and pay back 4 times what he stole from people. Honor elevates earthly status to heavenly status!
