Our Father has provided each of us with a wonderful inheritance. The key to accessing that inheritance is Holy Spirit...He will train us in the ways of authority to govern the realms of our inheritance. Authority and dominion can only come from an identity grounded in "IN CHRIST!"

One of the last things that Jesus told His followers was to wait for the Promise from His Father. This was one of the most important things Jesus told them...He also told His disciples that He had to leave the planet because if He didn't leave then Holy Spirit couldn't come. Jesus was saying, "If you like Me, you're gonna' love Him...He's brilliant."In Paul's writings we find that Holy Spirit in us gives us the Spirit of adoption, by which we are now called sons and daughters of God our Father. From this place of intimate relation, our inheritance is released to us, but only by the working of Holy Spirit in our lives!

The rung of a ladder was never meant to rest upon, but only to hold a man's foot long enough to enable him to put the other foot somewhat higher. We were made for growth, increase and favor! Our inheritance as a believer is to go from strength to strength & from glory to glory. Be happy and thankful for where you are now, but never be satisfied...because there is more and it has your name on it!

God is dealing with us from Future to Present...not Present to Past. He knows the end from the beginning & is working all things together for our good. The lion & the bear prepared David for Goliath...they were not tests of who he was at the time. They were not punishment...they were ammunition!

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. Our battle is not against the fruit of sin, but is against the root of sin. The enemy has a blueprint from which he operates...tell us a lie & hope we believe it...when we believe the lie, we empower the liar. Sin & its' nature are not our nature! We are a new creation...made for our God's pleasure...beautiful, powerful & holy!

Perception is the ability to gain value out of what we see. In the Kingdom, our perception is created by what we FOCUS our sight on, what we REMIND ourselves of, or by what we REMEMBER most often. Kingdom perception manifests as we REHEARSE God's nature in our history with Him.

Easter is a time to celebrate for the church of God! We have been brought from death to life because of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. Jesus lived, died and rose again so that we could be ALIVE! He paid the price for us to have LIFE instead of death in every area of our lives. John 1 says that in Him was life and that life was the light of men...it's time to come ALIVE!!

There will always be options...2 trees in the garden. Why? Because Hebrews 11:6 says that God is the "REWARDER". God longs to reward our obedience in the midst of options!

Throughout the Scriptures you will find that obedience is not measured by one's ability to follow a list of rules...obedience is measured by one's ability to obey and follow the voice of the Lord. "Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word the PROCEEDS out of the mouth of God."

This is a wonderful sermon that calls us to perceive, not just see. Matt outlines the key to truly perceiving as: recognition; understanding & accepting. Most of the time, what we see is not always the full picture and Matt is calling us to get in the battle and see what Heaven sees.
