Busy-ness is one of the enemy's tactics to keep the church from realizing who she is and from the revelation of who God is. Our schedules are often so full of "stuff" that our lives tend to be made up of empty things rather than the fullness of His Presence.

1 Samuel 15:22 says, "...to obey is better than sacrifice, to heed is better than the fat of rams." As believers, we have completely flip-flopped the values of obedience and sacrifice in our lives. Often times when God simply wants obedience, we want to offer Him a sacrifice...then when He wants a sacrifice from our hearts, we want a list from Him so we can obey. God is not looking for the things that originate from our hearts, He's looking for a reflection of what comes from His heart!"

In Luke 18, Jesus tells His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray & never give up. Many of us stop praying if we don't get an immediate answer, or we change our prayer. In this message, we learn 5 keys to answered prayer & we learn that Jesus equates faith to praying the same prayer until there is breakthrough.

This Communion Service was one of those defining moments in our church's history. It was the most beautiful time! Matt took us on an unforgettable journey into the passion of this sacred tradition.

Any area that we do not cover in prayer is open to attack from the enemy.

Prayer is more than simple communication with God. Unfortunately we often reduce prayer to us vomitting our needs, wants, ideas or complaints to God then walking away because we feel a measure of relief. Prayer is so much more than just that!

In the Kingdom, death is meaningless without a resurrection. Jesus died, but He rose again so that we can partake of the benefits of His sacrifice. We are now not only dead to sin, but are alive IN HIM! He then sent His Holy Spirit to take up residence in us. Holy Spirit is "in" us for us...BUT He is "upon" us for others!

We must learn how to allow Him who is in us to rest upon us! In doing so, we will become the transporters...carriers of His Presence!

Many of us have grown so much in the past few months that we have not taken the time to celebrate all the things the Lord has done in us! There are so many things that are becoming more like Him that we often overlook the smallest of things. Do not ignore these small victories, but celebrate them. This is how momentum is created in the Kingdom.

“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2 (NIV) Wordly thriving or prosperity is a self-promoting & self-honoring system...Kingdom thriving is quite different. Kingdom thriving is flourishing to the point of making others flourish. We are now given the responsibility & authority to bring heaven to earth & to become channels of God's love to the world. "When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices..." Proverbs 11:10 Why is this true? Because Godly living produces an atmosphere where people can thrive!

A study in Quantum Physics concerning how things are visible to they eye reveals amazing insights into the subatomic world of light. When an atom is hit by a beam of light, it’s electrons respond with excitement & jump into a higher energy state…he electrons then calm & in the process release their own light.

God is light is the light of the world; yet, in Matthew 5:14 He tells us, "...you are the light of the world..." How can we, who have no light of our own, become the light of the world? Quantum Physics has an answer. When the Light shines on us we respond. He initiates, we respond. This response to His light causes us to absorb His light, then gives us the ability to release light. Our greatest core value has to be obedience to Him…responding to His movements! Then we can Arise, Shine!

We as believers have been called to execute justice, love mercy & walk humbly with our God. The Lord never gives us an assignment without giving us the tools necessary to accomplish it. In this new season as a church we are facing an assignment that is beyond that which we can naturally execute. The assignment for this season is to be supernatural & it will only be accomplished as we become a house of prayer and live a fasted lifestyle.
