We recap the Stockton Heat's week and look ahead to the Flames California road trip. Can we break the Honda Center curse finally?

After an amazing Flames win over the Chicago Blackhawks, we have a lot of positive things to talk about. We'll look back on the Flames records from previous Octobers and realize they're not doing so bad, and at the historical data of how other teams have done with a new coach - we're in the same boat. Not only are the Flames doing well, so are the Stockton Heat! We'll profile who's looking good in the AHL and who's making a case for a promotion - as well as our optimistic look ahead at the next week of games.

Looking over the Flames odd schedule for the next few months, it's critical that the Flames get going soon because they have some tough opponents coming up. Plus lots of prospect news including looking at the first game of the Stockton Heat season, the Tom McCollum signing, and a look at how our prospects are doing so far.
