Throwback Ep that I had forgot to post a talk with the homie Jason Garcia who is an awesome cosplayer and also hosts trivia and karaoke nights in san diego.

Brian Bovenzi runs wesavedapuppy.org an organization dedicated to helping people save money on vet bills and rescuing and rehoming at risk animals.

We talk about his experiences in life that led him to focus on his rescue full time and about the factors in creating lasting change in the way animals are dealt with in various cultures.

Terry Ross is an established acting teach and award winning director and she runs an acting academy as well as runs acting retreats as well.  Her new endeavor is a new film festival in San Diego open to International Indie film makers and we have a chat about what makes a film festival legitimate and she answers all Lou's questions about the festival industry.  We also talk acting techniques, Uta Hagen and about Terry's history in the acting and directing world.   Bracket bit is about what else?  ACTING!!!!

The 48 hour film project is a great starting point for filmmakers to get their feet wet test crew members and their ability and at best it is a great team building exercise and experience for film makers.  I have participated and have run several teams and also been a writer for several teams and it was fun to chat with Robyn and Duane from the SD 48 to talk about the changes to it the new world of movie festivals and competitions and about what Filmapalooza is all about.

Rosa is a rotten tomatoes official critic and hosts the LatinXLens podcast and she took the time to talk about her experiences at Sundance and we talk about her life as a reviewer and a scientist as well as a broad ranging talk about representation in film and in the world of movie reviews.   We also do a couple of LatinX themed bracket bits.  Enjoy
