In our last sermon of the summer Andy takes a look at Fireside's mission and DNA. Reading from Luke 5, he explores how we are called to make disciples like Jesus. It was a great reminder of WHY Fireside exists, WHAT our mission is, and HOW we can carry it out.

This Sunday Founder and Executive Director of the foundation Fostering Hope, Jonathan Reid shared with us. We got to hear his powerful story of obedience to God. Jonathan believes that we can all in some way support the fostering movement, and that, doing so fulfills an integral part of what it means to follow Jesus.

Andy told the story of Cornelius found in Acts 10 and pulled out beautiful truths about the Holy Spirit, the gospel, and the accessibility to salvation that all have through Jesus Christ. 

Preaching Professor at Gordon-Conwell Pat Batten brought a lot of perspective, insight, and clarity to the story of Jesus and the Canaanite woman this Sunday.
