This week Andy took us through David's worship in Psalm 142 through the events of 1 Samuel 22. 

The week we looked at Psalm 56 and 1 Samuel 21.

The first sermon in our new series looking at some of the psalms David wrote and the events connected to them.  This Sunday we dove into Psalm 9 and 1 Samuel 17.

In our last sermon of the summer Andy takes a look at Fireside's mission and DNA. Reading from Luke 5, he explores how we are called to make disciples like Jesus. It was a great reminder of WHY Fireside exists, WHAT our mission is, and HOW we can carry it out.

This Sunday Founder and Executive Director of the foundation Fostering Hope, Jonathan Reid shared with us. We got to hear his powerful story of obedience to God. Jonathan believes that we can all in some way support the fostering movement, and that, doing so fulfills an integral part of what it means to follow Jesus.

Andy told the story of Cornelius found in Acts 10 and pulled out beautiful truths about the Holy Spirit, the gospel, and the accessibility to salvation that all have through Jesus Christ. 

Preaching Professor at Gordon-Conwell Pat Batten brought a lot of perspective, insight, and clarity to the story of Jesus and the Canaanite woman this Sunday. 

Fireside Chats is a look at some of Peter's moments by fires. This week Andy dove into Peter's denial of Jesus and explored what we can take away from it.

Julia Donofrio is a vital part of the Fireside family and we were honored to hear her share what God had been laying on her heart about Holy Spirit.

Our worship leader Conner spoke on the importance of our unique roles in the body of Christ and how we must each surrender ourselves so that Holy Spirit can work through us to accomplish the will of God.
