“Blessed” in the Bible means “happy.” The first Psalm tells us that a blessed person has a relationship with the Lord. When we are close with our Creator, our spiritual lives becomes like trees—sturdy, rooted, living. The choice we have to make every day is to pursue that close and rooted relationship with God.
