The religious leaders of the day did not believe in Jesus. They knew the scriptures but they refused to accept the fact that He was the Son of God. Just like back then, today it is not a problem of evidence but a problem of the heart.

You can't avoid Him or ignore Him - you must do something with Jesus.

Many times we think we need something when it is really not a need but a want. The man at the pool of Bethesda thought he needed to be healed but he really needed to know Jesus.

How should we respond to trials? James gives us good insight as we look at James 5:7-11. We are to be patient, don't grumble and trust God.

We can all become involved in discipleship. We need to remember, 1) It is do-able, 2) It is costly and 3) it is worth it.

What does Christianity look like on a real person? That is what modeling is all about.

God calls us to make disciples. One method is by teaching. You don't have to have the gift of teaching to teach. Anyone can do it. Another method is making it about life. This involves discovering how the truth of the Bible can be applied to our own lives. What is the next next step? How about sharing what you learned today with someone else? Maybe you could meet this week with someone or teach others in your family.

What is a disciple and how can we disciple others? Making disciples is such an important part of the Christian life that Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..."

In John 4:43-54, a royal official comes to Jesus. He asks Jesus to come to his house to heal his dying son. Jesus talks about the crowd not believing and then heals the man's son. Do we believe to get what we want from God or do we truly have a relationship with Him?

Jesus talked with the woman at the well. Afterwards he talked with his disciples and told them that his food was to do the will of the father. He then encourages his disciples to "lift up their eyes" and see the harvest.
