Isaiah 6 is usually used as a missions chapter but there is so much more meaning. Will Chan explains the meaning of this important chapter.

This sermon is actually two messages. First, a lecture about textual criticism. The second is a message on forgiveness. Those who need little forgiveness, love Jesus only a little. Those ho need much forgiveness love Jesus much.

Jesus says that if you believe in Him, from you will flow rivers of living water.

During the time of Jesus, many people did not understand His ministry or His actions. They misunderstood 1) what Jesus came to do, 2) what Jesus teaches, 3) what Jesus has done, 4) where Jesus came from, 5) where Jesus is going. The question is, do we have nay misunderstanding of Jesus? Do we realize that we will be misunderstood if we are following Him?

Jesus said some hard sayings. Our choice is simple, we can follow Jesus or reject him. If we do follow Jesus, we must follow him with our whole heart.

Jesus starts by sharing that He is the Bread of Life. Then he shares 5 stages: 1) The Father Gives, 2) The Father Draws, 3) The Person Comes, 4) The Son Receives and 5) The Son Raises Up. The result of these five stages, awe and worship.

During Jesus' talk on Him being the Bread of Life, Jesus gave us two options, 1) We can try to cram Jesus into our personal mold or 2) we can come to Jesus as the Bread of Life.

Jesus sent his disciples ahead of him across the Sea of Galilee. As the storm roared, the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water toward them. They were afraid but Jesus encouraged them to not be afraid. How many things do we fear in our lives. We need to learn to trust in Jesus.

Jesus tested the faith of the disciples by asking them to feed around 15,000 people. Jesus showed his creative power by multiplying the bread and fish to feed the people.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is real but why is it important? The resurrection of Jesus isn’t a distant, vaguely impactful historical event. It is an event we experience and are changed by as those who have been united with Christ. Our experience of the resurrection is meant to be lived out in a changed/new kind of living.
