Does God's Word REALLY make a difference? Is it REALLY something that's established in our lives?

There are some important things to consider when it comes to the reasons for us to rejoice because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The two Mary's who first saw the empty tomb can teach us three reasons to rejoice, and Pastor Greg explains!

If you want to see Jesus, you'll need to understand that wheat wasn't created to make bread, it was created to make more wheat! Jesus answered his disciples that way in John 12:20-26 when they told him some non-Jews wanted to see him. Why?

Because Jesus was talking about how he was the one to fulfill the prophecies of his impending crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. When he had been crucified, then he could be glorified - and until we see Jesus all three ways (prophesied, crucified, and glorified), we don't really see Jesus as He is. This is like the wheat kernel - unless it is predicted that it would have to die, be buried, and finally rise again as a new wheat plant with many more kernels - eventually spreading across the globe - you miss the purpose for which Jesus came.

The Cross of Calvary had one man hanging on it. Not all view the "King of the Jews" the same way. In fact, there are four ways people view Him. Only one is the Truth. The rest are fake news. Believe the Truth, or peril lies ahead!

Having the right attitude about our work is everything! Only Jesus puts our attitude where it should be - to do our work to please HIM! We're not in it for the accolades of others. We're not in it to satisfy ourselves. We're in it to please Jesus.

The lost miss this entirely, because the first command of the Almighty is to believe in the Son. Believe enough to obey! Perfect obedience is impossible, and so the Blood of Jesus is there for that. But... have you obeyed there? Then, will you devote the rest of your life to satisfying your real LORD?

Like a pro-fisherman dangling the bait the fish cannot refuse, so the serpent works his woe on each and every one of us - and we take it, hook, line and sinker! The tactics of Satan have not changed throughout human history. But Jesus can remove the hook, line, and sinker, heal the hole, and set you free.

Often, pulpits tell the story of how to become a Christian - through confession and repentance. Too few messages are how to regain the joy of one's salvation after a believer has backslidden. King David's psalm (38) is all about the blessedness of the confessed and repented believer before the Lord. Pastor Greg expounds on this psalm with love and truth.

There's more to the idea of being created in the image of God than merely arguing for the sanctity of life. Pastor Greg explains that there's much more to the phrase, "Let Us Create Man in Our Image." It's deeply profound, and it affects the gospel as well as marriage, the church, and the Ten Commandments. Being made in the image of God affects how we live, work, play, and love.
