1. God is Love - Love is from God.

2. ...let us love one another.

3. ἀγάπη (agape love) requires the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

4. ἀγάπη (agape love) is proactive and sacrificial.

5. If we love (ἀγάπη) one another, God remains in us, and His love is made complete in us.

1. It was a remarkably "joyless" evening.

2. To see God's glory - "Don't be afraid, LOOK!"

3. That night, a most remarkable choir sang.

4. If you need joy in your Christmas - LISTEN!

5. They were changed by what they heard.

6. To strengthen faith and increase joy this Christmas - ACT!

7. The implications of the moment were awe-inspiring.

8. To remember your joy this Christmas - THINK!

9. LOOK at what He's doing. LISTEN to His message. ACT on His words and REFLECT on who HE is.

1. In the days of Isaiah, Israel was a rebellious nation.

2. Those same characteristics are present today.

3. The Lord saw that there was no justice,

4. and He was offended.

5. When there was no way - God made a way.

6. God ensured His justice would be accomplished.

7. He is coming again; He will return for His own.

8. Both the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" Anyone who hears should say, "Come!" And the one who is thirsty should come.

1. The Christian life should be filled with Joy.

2. The Christian life should be engaged in Service.

3. The Christian life should be characterized by Dependence.

4. The Christian life should be lived with Gratitude.

5. Shout to the Lord...Serve with gladness...Acknowledge that He is the Lord...Enter His gates with thanksgiving

1. Their mission required supernatural empowerment.

2. Their mission was according to God's plan and agenda.

3. Their mission, their calling, was to be HIS witnesses.

4. in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

5. How do we know that we weren't called for such a time as this?

6. We ARE His WITNESSES! What kind of witnesses will we be?

1. Jesus is Lord over ALL creation.

2. His church is established and enabled by this truth.

3. GO, therefore, and make disciples of all nations...

4. Disciples...LOVES Jesus, is FOLLOWING Jesus, is being CHANGED by Jesus, is COMMITTED to Jesus's kingdom mission.

5. Baptizing & Teaching

6. "I am with you always, to the end of the age."

7. Will we accept Our Mission?

1. They devoted themselves...

2. They devoted themselves...to the Apostle's teaching.

3. They devoted themselves...to fellowship.

4. They devoted themselves...to prayer.

5. Everyone was filled with awe...

6. They stored their treasures in heaven.

7. They were a united church together in one accord.

8. They lived lives of praise.

9. As they honored God, He honored them.

10. When God's people do things God's way, in His name - He grows His church.

1. To live gospel centered lives...We must open our eyes to the world around us.

2. To live gospel centered lives...We must be honest with ourselves and with them.

3. To live gospel centered lives...We must pursue the new birth for all who are perishing.

4. Are we gospel centered or gospel inclined?

5. FBC cannot be a "lighthouse" if WE are not ambassadors.

6. Our priorities MUST radically shift.

7. "The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest." Matthew 9:37-38

1. Jews and Gentiles experienced real divisions.

2. Gentiles were without hope and without God.

3. From two opposing groups, Christ created one unified body.

4. The cross puts to death the hostilities that divide mankind.

5. In Him, all believers are members of God's household.

6. This is the church; it is the body of Christ!!

7. Will we be His church?

1. One Body, One Mission

2. One Body, Many Parts

3. Many Parts, Many Tasks

4. Many Parts, Precise Placement

5. Precise Placement, Designed Necessity

6. Designed Necessity, Interdependent Futures

7. We, as a body, will not fulfill our purpose unless each of us, as individual parts, are willing to use the gifts and talents God has given us to fulfill the role He has given us.
