1. Salvation is a gift given at the discretion of God.

2. God's selection is accompanied by HIS expectations.

3. The Father's choice was achieved through Jesus.

4. Redemption is only found "in Him".

5. The seal is for all who hear and believe.

6. The Holy Spirit is God's guarantee.

7. What the Father has chosen, the Son has redeemed, and the Spirit has sealed.

1. Righteousness of God had been revealed to us.

3. In His righteousness He justifies through faith in Christ.

4. To have faith or believe in is to TRUST.

1. The Image of God is exclusive to mankind.

2. The Image of God is a characteristic of all peoples.

3. The Image of God is unmeasured in every individual.

4. What is the Image of God?

A. It is not physical or relational

B. Image Dei is what mankind IS, not what he HAS or DOES.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..."

1. Jesus is the unique Son of God.

2. His reign will be righteous, it will be eternal.

3. All creation will bow before Jesus.

4. Jesus IS Greater...than anything we can imagine.

If He's greater than ALL why would we hold anything back?

1. Why "The Word?"

A. "The Word" is the means by which man may know God.

B. "The Word" is the title given to Jesus as God's ultimate communication of truth about HImself.

2. In the beginning was the Word...and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

3. In him was life and that life was the light of men.

4. "The Word" became flesh, and dwelt among us...

5. What does it mean?

A. If He is God, He is God over every aspect of our lives.

B. If He is God, He is God over every aspect of HIS church.

C. If in Him we are "children of God," what are we apart from Him?

A. The image of the Invisible God.

B. The firstborn of all creation.

C. All things were created through Him and for Him.

D. In Him all things hold together.

E. All things were reconciled to the Father through Him.

F. He is before all things.

G. He is the head of the body, the church.

H. He is the truth. He is the life. No one comes to the Father except by Him.
