If there ever was a sermon that has been avoided more than any other, it

has to be a sermon on hell. You don't hear it mentioned much any more

in church and that is a shame because Jesus sure had a lot to say about

it during his ministry on earth.

Do you ever wonder about heaven? What will it be like there? We take a look at what the bible has to say about eternity spent in heaven.

It is so great to take a look at what God is doing at FBJB, but also wise for us to look ahead and realize that there is so much more that He is calling us to do.

Music, styles, building, clothes, trends, fads....they all change, but Jesus never does. We need him desperately.

With complete and total trust in Jesus we have nothing to fear. It is

fear in our lives that keeps us from accomplishing or even trying to

accomplish many things in our lives. With God completely in our hearts

we should not have any fear because he will lead us into the right

direction.

When you understand the essence of worship to be

the genuine savoring of God, whether through fainting or feasting,

thirsting or bursting, you can't treat it lightly any more. It

becomes the very center-piece of life.

Human music and natural music (you know, waves and thunder) will be a winning combo in glorifying God.

It is simply amazing the our God is so infinite, yet so intimate as well. He is all-knowing, ever present, all holy, and all powerful, yet is not a God that is distant and unknowable. What a wonderful song and meditation! It is not a frightening concept, it is just too wonderful.

It has been said that "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." That is true and will preach. There is so much to be said for being prepared to intellectually share your faith and defend it, but it is useless if it is not done in love and real service. We need to be prepared to meet physical and spiritual needs.
