Do you pray asking prayers? Seeking prayers? Knocking Prayers? Matthew 7:7-12

What does it mean and look like to live a life that is devoted to prayer? This is how a normal Christians life is described in scripture. We need to understand the importance and power of prayer.

All along the way in our defeats, difficulties, circumstances, and darker seasons of life, God is aware. He is not pacing the floor or caught off guard. He is faithful and involved. God is wonderfully sovereign and working all things together for the good of His people. What wonderful promises we find in our sovereign God. What a wonderful redeemer we have in Jesus. (Ruth 4)

What an incredible portrayal of our redemption in Jesus Christ displayed in Ruth's redemption in Ruth chapter 3 ! As we continue our journey with Ruth we discover this is so much more than just another "run of the mill" love story.

Ruth 2 shows a beautiful depiction of the gospel of Jesus Christ. No matter what catastrophe. circumstance or difficult situation...there is always HOPE in Christ Jesus.

The narrative of Ruth and Naomi in Ruth 1 is an incredible picture of the gospel. What are we to do when we are mired in the lowest of situations, circumstances and sin? What are we to think when we cannot feel God or hear Him? we do not abandon, we trust. He is faithful. There is hope. His name is Jesus.

God is not concerned about things as much as He is concerned about His people's hearts? From the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks, the hands serve, and His people give with cheerfulness.

Jesus said that we would should and ought to be known by our love. Do we share, serve, love, and are we being sanctified in the Jesus' name?

How do we begin to live beyond ourselves. Jesus made it clear that we are to be crucified with Christ. How will this affect our worship?

Jesus is the greatest gift because He provides for our greatest need. We need rescuing from our sin and only His love is the answer.
