The proof of the resurrection provides hope and joy to all beleivers. Through His entrance and victory over the grave Jesus offers an exchange of death for life to all who will believe.

In the final sermon of the Connect Series we look at the benefits of connecting with other believers in a small-group setting. After a close look to the Biblical account of the early church we see the benefits of connecting far outweigh all the negatives.

Jesus mentored a small group of men that came from different backgrounds and had different issues. But from His constant 3-year mentoring program they became very different men. Small groups today are still churning out strong men and women for Christ.

The Christian journey is tough! This series reveals that we can't do it well left to ourselves. We're not expected or created to do it alone. God made each of us as spiritual beings to connect with Him and social beings to connect with others. We were made to build meaningful relationships with other believers who will help us and offer us support in our journey with Christ.

The Psalms reflect many of our current life struggles and scenarios. King David found himself dwelling in a cave running from a jealous king. We can often allow fear to back us into a cave where we eventually make our home. God has not called us to live in dark caves but in the light that He provides. In this message we learn to recognize our weaknesses and trust Christ to help us claim the victory in our lives.
