The original manuscript of the Gospel of Mark ends the Easter story like no other Gospel does. On this Easter, which is like no other Easter, Mark's telling of the story reminds us that while these are uncertain times, we still have a certain hope.
Scriptures used in this sermon include:
Mark 16
Romans 8:31-39
The story of the Friday before the first Easter can be hard to hear. Yet, in a time such as this, it is a story that needs to be told because it reminds us that suffering and death was not the end of Jesus' story. It's not the end of our story either.
While today is traditionally celebrated as Palm Sunday, we explored the events of the first Palm Sunday at the beginning of this series. If you'd like to watch that message today, please use the following link: https://subspla.sh/64zbykg
