The first Christmas was a lot different than the one we celebrate today. There were no presents under the tree; no carols or jingle bells. Chaos and oppression ruled the world. The world was searching for hope and salvation. Join us as we conclude our trip with the destination of Christmas.

Our next stop on the road to Christmas is Bethlehem. We promise there will be a few surprises and this may seriously mess with our traditional views of the Christmas story. But what if God still wanted to surprise us? Could we stay open to that possibility?

So how much do you really know about the Christmas story? Is it safe to say that all the way through the story God does things in an unexpected way? Our journey this wee takes us to Nazareth, the home town of Mary and Joseph. But what does Nazareth have to do with me, you might ask? Trust us when we say there is still a lot left for us to learn about this truly remarkable story!

It's been going on for more than 2000 years in small towns and large cities alike. This idea, of preparing our hearts and homes for the King who would change history, is actually something that was going on long before Christ was even born.

Now that we know more about what the Favor Of God (last week) is, we know ask the question: What does it look like to walk in the favor of God? How does God's favor flow to each of us? Is there a way to position ourselves? We'll look in God's Word to find what we need to do to walk in His favor!

The Favor of God (FOG): It's a phrase you may have heard before, but what does the favor of God look like? Is it having good luck? Being blessed with wealth and influence? And how do we get favor? Can we lose it?

The past two weekends have been incredible with all the baptisms and the enthusiasm that goes along with them. So what happens now? What happens to those who made decisions to follow Jesus?

Today we finish up our Toxic series with a look at a soul that's been seduced. This series has made us think, made us squirm, and even made us mad at times. But we can't deny that we are slowly being poisoned by cultural toxins that most of us don't even think about or are aware of.

We get excited around here for Baptism Sunday! Lead pastor David will share with us what it means to "follow Jesus." Do we echo his footsteps? Imitate his every move? Are we right behind him at all costs?
