That we all follow someone or something has been established in this series. As we look at an incredible passage of scripture from the Old Testament:Isaiah 53, we learn to follow the cross of Jesus Christ. We learn that we all belong to something that is much better than all of us.

There is an incredible event recorded in scripture, involving Jesus, His Father and the Holy Spirit that tell us some important things about how God views baptism. What does the statement "Take up your cross" mean? Is it still relevant in a culture like ours? What would it look like today if we were to "take up our cross?" Do we have to follow Jesus that closely? All of these questions have answers. It's possible that we may have to rethink what it means to follow Him.

So many of us have made decisions to follow Jesus. But what does it meant to truly let Him lead in our lives? What is Grace? Can Grace can pave the way for us as we seek to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

We are all afraid of something. These fears are preventing us from reaching our greatest potential. The thing is many of our fears aren't even rational. They are exaggerated lies Satan wants us to believe. Elijah faces a time when he is so afraid that he runs from his life. God overpowers his fears in face of the enemy. We can learn so much from the story of Elijah to help us overcome our own fears.

Heights, Spiders, Death, Failure, The Dark, Our fears come in all shapes and sizes. But where do they come from? Is it wrong to be scared? And is it even possible to live a fear-free life? Join us as we look at how to balance "The Fear of the LORD" and God saying "Fear Not" Is it possible to "fear not and still have fear of the LORD?"

Our hope is that you will allow the good news of Jesus Christ to come to you wherever you may be. God has used His incredible power to save you no matter where you find yourself today. One of the last things that Jesus commanded His followers is to take the message to all people both locally and around the world. To spread the message to those who don't know they need it and to those who don't think they deserve it. Join us as we explore the hope that is the Risen Christ.

What matters most is not what you think about yourself. What matters most is what your heavenly Father sees in you and what He says about you. This will be our last encounter with Elisha for a while. In this incredible scene from 2 Kings, Elisha prayed a prayer that God would open the eyes of his companion. How open are your eyes to seeing God’s power at work?

Looks can be deceiving. How many of us bought an item only to get it home and realize it was not all it was advertised to be? People can be that way as well. They can have all the outward signs of greatness and yet be really lacking on the inside. This Sunday as we continue our series on Greater Still… we will look at an encounter Elisha had with someone who might have been a rock star in our world, Naaman. The problem was Naaman thought it was all about him. Does that sound familiar?
