Jesus revealed His glory to Peter, James, and John on Mt. Tabor during the transfiguration. What an incredible experience that must have been! Jesus was fully God and fully man. Jesus was fully submitted to God no matter what. We are also called to be fully submitted to God. We are called to be faithful and obey God - even when we don't fully understand. As a church where are we at in our faith journey? Where are we missing the mark? In what areas are we doing well? These are important questions to ask as a church. Our goal as the church is to glorify God through the gathering together of believers and to honor the upward call of God together. So... where are we at?

In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus modeled to us how we should pray. The prayer Jesus offered is a simple and clear guide. May we as God's people commit ourselves to prayer, and may we pray that the Lord’s Prayer be fulfilled in our lives, in our community, and in our church!

In our prayers, we may stumble in our words or approach, but what truly matters is our devotion and intention. God sees beyond the surface, straight into our hearts, understanding our deepest needs even when we struggle to articulate them perfectly. Through Solomon's example, we learn that there's nothing more precious than cultivating a genuine relationship with our Heavenly Father.

As the people of God, we need boldness! We need to always be willing and searching for opportunities to share the Gospel boldly and confidently with the lost.
