I finished THE FIERY CITADEL! So I'm just chatting today about next plans, some about the arc of The Twelve Kingdoms and The Uncharted Realms books and how publishers make us do odd branding stuff. I also go into my thoughts on Episode 2 of Game of Thrones Season 8, but not until the end and I give plenty of warning so you can bail before spoilers.

Spring is sprung and I'm finishing this book today! So, I'm mostly burbling about that. There is a bit of cat wrangling, but a surprise! It's Isabel this time. Go figure.

Carabiner is the word I wanted, not "crampon,"  which is a metal plate with spikes fixed to a boot for walking on ice or rock climbing or an archaic term for grappling hook. Musings on finishing a book and hitting the nostalgic phase, and I'm thinking about next steps, too. Also a spoilery rant on what constitutes a romance. The good news is that I figured out how to splice two pieces of my podcast together when it stops recording! So there's a bit of a bump around 15:05, but I know now and I'll make the reintro smoother next time. I used Audio Joiner to do it, and it was super easy.
