Moses had a lot of seemingly good reasons why God should find someone else to lead his people out of Egypt. God answered each of them. Would it surprise you to know that we make those exact excuses today, and that they boil down to the condition of our hearts toward God?

God reveals himself to Moses, then reveals the mission he has for him. But not all at once. It’s a pattern God still uses with us today, and it requires steps of faith before we even fully know what he’s calling us to do.
