I never thought about an action-adventure Star Wars book being in black and white before. But boy howdy, throw in some red and it all makes sense.

Why yes, this is an event of a book that everyone should own at least one copy of. I do not want to talk about how many of these covers I have. 

There's SO MANY CREATORS IN THIS I CAN'T LIST THEM ALL!

I'm intrigued and this is a good step one to get me onboard but there needs to be more here.

I've been itching for a new supernatural slasher that isn't just 'we couldn't get the rights to one of the big names' so YES! This is the best I've read this season... I say before October when most of the big shots come out. 

IT KILLED EVERYONE BUT ME #1, written by Ryan Parrott, art by Letizia Cadonici, colors by Alessandro Santoro, with letters by Taylor Esposito.

It's the 25th anniversary of Powers and that makes me feel old and really gets me into thinking about how modern audiences react to books that don't follow the "company standard".

Wow, I haven't thought about Nocturnals in a while but I'm really glad I got this one physical. 

NOCTURNALS: THE SINISTER PATH #1, written and illustrated by Dan Brereton, with letters by Lois Buhali

This is a really great encapsulation of what I really liked about the Expanded Universe back when Phantom Menace came out and there was a massive focus on fleshing out Anakin as a padawan before his big turbulent teens.

What can I really say other than this is spectacular and amazing.
