First Issues NOW!

Well I'm on record as not liking two of the four characters, loving one and having no real understanding of the fourth so... this should be a fun team-up.

WOLVERINES AND DEADPOOLS #1, written by Cody Ziglar, art boy Roge Antonio, colors by Guru-eFX and letters by VC’s Travis Lanham.

It's a noir-style thriller about the music industry corrupting people. I wish I had more to say. Art's nice though.

Charlamagne tha God presents ILLuminati #1, written by Bryan Edward Hill, pencils by Denys Cowan, inks by Bill Sienkewicz, colors by Marco Lesko and letters by Andworld Design.

Why yes, I absolutely will always fanboy over Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn being awesome together. I do indeed support women's wrongs as they try to steal from a space-themed nightclub.

Gotham City Sirents: Unfit for Orbit #1, written by Leah Williams, art by Haining, colors by Ivan Plascencia and letters by Tom Napolitano.

Oh hey, I did one of these last year when I did a soft attempt to restart. Cool. So it's time to talk about the setup to Steve Rogers - freshly unfrozen - about to stand against Doctor Victor Von Doom! Plus a really poignant talk between Reed and Steve.

Captain America v12 #1, written by Chip Zdarsky, art by Valerio Schiti, colors by Frank Martin, and letters by VC’s Joe Caramagna.

This is definitely one of those comics that will be a staple as the toppest of tiers on first issues! It is AWESOME!

Written by Si Spurrier, art by Mike Deodato Jr, colors by Trish Mulvihill and letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhrou.

Not technically from this week (but Issue 2 did drop so I say it counts), this more of a little rant than it is a little review. READ IT!

Written by Iman Vellari and Sabir Pirzada, art by Carlos Gomez and Adam Gorham, colors by Erick Arciniega, and letters by VC’s Joe Caramagna.

Seeing some of the stuff said days after ti came out, I can absolutely be glad I read this day of. Power Girl #1 is totally worth the read.

Leah Williams is the writer, Eduardo Pansica on pencils, Julio Ferreira on inks, Romulo Fajardo Jr. on colors, and Becca Carey on letters.

Yes, the big premise of "Steve Rogers buys an apartment building" was spoiled but WOW I could have made this a 20 minute dissection with all the meat on this comic's bones. I LOVE IT!

J. Michael Stracynzski is on writing, Jesus Saiz on art, Matt Hollingsworth on colors and VC’s Joe Caramagna on letters. Published by Marvel Comics.

A brand new Wonder Woman solo series debuts under the DAWN OF DC banner and... well, I do have one or two thoughts. Mostly that I feel we're in Amazons Attack territory a bit more than my PTSD can handle.

Written by Tom King, art by Daniel Sampere, colors by Tomeu Morey and letters by Clayton Cowles. Published by DC Comics.

There's always a bit of fun when billionaires start to kidnap people to turn into lotion. Absolutely worth buying right now!

Written by Mark Russell, Illustrated by Ramon Rosanas, colored by Ive Svorcina, lettered by Andworld Design. Published by AWA Studios.
